DEVELOPER DIARY: CHARITY UPDATE

By  |

Way back when we first started the IndieGoGo campaign for Food Battle: The Game, we promised that we would be donating 10% of the funds to your top three favorite charities. So not only have you helped make this awesome game happen, you’ve contributed to THREE amazing charities that we feel strongly about! Take a look at these organizations, why we love them, and what they each received from our campaign:

food battle child's play

Child’s Play seeks to improve the lives of children in hospitals around the world through the kindness and generosity of the video game industry and the power of play. Being gamers ourselves, this cause is super important to us.

Contribution: $9,565

do something

DoSomething encourages young people to create their own vision for making a difference in their community. We’ve done some awesome things with DoSomething in the past, and are super excited to be able to make this contribution and help further their goal of pursuing causes that are important to teens and young adults!

Contribution: $8,272

feed USA

FEED USA is a new campaign within the FEED Foundation that works to improve school food all across America. Since our game is completely focused on food, we felt this one was especially relevant and a really awesome cause to support.

You guys have no idea how happy this makes us. Not only have you supported us and our wildest dream of creating this game, you’ve helped out some really amazing causes and made a difference in people’s lives!! We are so fortunate to have had this opportunity and so proud to have such amazing fans that make it possible! THANK YOU
