They’re Rebooting ‘Pet Sematary’… and It’s Full of Weird Personal Details About Me?

Stephen King books: for Hollywood, they’re the gift that keeps on giving. After last year’s quadruple play of It, Gerald’s Game, The Dark Tower, and 1922, we just heard that Pet Sematary is coming back from the dead in 2019. They just released the trailer, and as you might expect, it’s full of creepy kids, family secrets, and dark imagery. But here’s something you might not expect: it’s also full of weirdly personal details about me. Weird, right? I mean, I know I didn’t expect to find so many bizarre similarities to my life in a new horror film trailer. And I’m trying not to freak out, but I did a bit more digging about the new movie, and the parallels to my life don’t end there…

What do you think? Am I barking up the wrong grave? Or does the new Pet Sematary feel a little too close? Is It secretly about any of you? Let me know on Twitter. And Hollywood, if you’re reading: just, like, give me a heads up next time, yeah?
