‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ Creator Just Told Us What Would Happen in a Reboot

By  |

Selena Gomez and David Henrie’s had a Wizards of Waverly Place reunion last weekend, and there they discussed where they think their characters would be now.

It’s been five years since the show ended, and while David thinks his character Justin is probably in the same spot as headmaster of Wiz Tech, and Selena thinks Alex is most likely single and “finding herself”, they sure what their brother Max would be doing nowadays. Luckily, the show’s creator, Todd Greenwald, took to Twitter to clear up where good ol’ magic-less Max and the family SubStation ended up… and let’s just say, he didn’t exactly give ’em a classic Disney ending.

Umm @selenagomez @DavidHenrie…. Max sold the SubStation. It's now a Jamba Juice. #wowp

But they paid him in juice.

Justin can't stop dating Centaurs… he can't quit the freaks. @selenagomez @DavidHenrie

I'm thinking a grown-up theatrical version of #wowp would be kinda fresh. #reboot

Whoa, suggesting a real reunion? Bold move considering there is probably no way in hell Selena Gomez would agree to that. But if she did, do you think there should be a reboot special of Wizards of Waverly Place to see where all the characters REALLY ended up five years later? Let us know on Twitter @Smosh!
