Best movie and best book ever.

We were somewhere around Barstow.. on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold.
Journalist Raoul Duke (Johnny Depp) and his attorney, Dr. Gonzo (Benicio Del Toro), drive to Las Vegas to cover the 1971 Mint 400 motorcycle race for Sports Illustrated magazine. However, the race is merely an excuse for the duo to abuse their expense account and indulge in a galaxy of drugs. What was initially a simple journey to cover a motorcycle race mutates into a bizarre search for the American Dream.

Yes, the movie and book are both amazing, I agree...but how can you say THAT is the best part? I have seen, and talked about this movie with many people, and never have we talked about that part, haha.

Hell yes. Fear and Loathing is fucking amazing. Hunter S. Thompson is one of my heroes. I even named my pipe after him, Puffer S. Thompson. I got a quote from him in my sig too.

I've only seen the movie, but one day I'd like to read the book.

Yeah, that parts not nearly the best part. Although that is a good scene that describes how fucked up and paranoid drugs can make you. Imagine that shit, your ridin' around and hear some shit, he probably thought he was in the middle of a war cause of some people out there huntin'.

Words can't describe how awesome I think this movie is. I love how confusing it is...I watched it high the first time, no clue what the hell was going on. I didn't even know they were there to cover a motorcycle race till the second time I watched it. You really gotta pay attention to understand it.

Books are for librarys. :x
