and the signature contest im talking about is the SOTW, which = my idea, that I started, and that I will run.

I don't care if a theme is popular or not, either people participate in the sotw or they don't. If you don't like it, ill move it to the forum games for Christs sake. This is my serious of contests that I started, in reality, I can run it any fucking way I please and im not going to surrender it because it got popular and you want to take control.

I couldn't give less of a fuck about the popularity of this thread. I care about you ruining a perfectly good concept with your bad ideas just because you want to be "leader" of something, when if we change up the creators we get some really good ones.

Boxiom, I think that if you're so obsessed with graphics, and whatever graphics forum that you're trying to turn smosh into, you need to just go there, be a part of that comunity, and leave smosh to be what it is.

Not everyone here is as interested in the artistic capabilities of photoshop as you, much less consider it even a serious hobby. Stop trying to force them to. If you keep trying to force everyone that wants to participate in the SOTW to take it on as a serious artisic endeavor, all you're going to do is end up alienating everyone from participating, and losing control of this "original" idea (you've obviously borrowed the idea, as well as the themes you've come up with - you gave us the link.) that you seem so determined to hold on to.

I gotta say, I like this thread because I like to fuck around in Photoshop. But don't act like this is building up to something great where the best sig makers will go on to an International Championship of Forum Signature Making. If you want to see real Photoshop genius, one need not look further than Something Awful's Photoshop Phriday.

Just because you initiated the idea does not give you the right to choose shitty themes. If people don't like your themes, it's time to start thinking of better ones--not bitching and whoring to get your own way.

What I learned from my first photoshop/sig experience; difficulty ensues. And I suck at sizing. Yar, this be harder than it looks.

I like to challenge people to things that are hard(well...semi-hard), to me and many others, the theme "Cars" is pretty fucking lame

I totally agree with that, if you want to make a great contest you should take themes such as movies, music, Super Heroes...

Well clearly you're missing the point. We here at Smosh don't get hard-ons when we see someone's signature, unless it's Scarlett Johanson's tits. So stop trying to "challenge" people with "themes" (styles) of supposed "pro" signature making, because it's been proven time and time again that we're just not that into it.

Not everyone's idea of a good sig falls under your criteria. You can't seem to understand the concept of compromising...

Given the discussion in this thread and its significance, I'd say the "one post per user" rule will be thrown out for at least this week. Keeping it in effect would be unfair because what's being said in this thread is important to the contest.

Boxiom, here's how this is going to work. You can keep making these threads, but not exclusively, only if you're willing to compromise. If you want to act like an asshat by assuming complete authority, coming up with unpopular themes, and whining when people speak up about it, then you just won't be allowed to make these threads anymore. Got it? This is a democracy, not a dictatorship. Maybe if you were the only one to decide who wins, then you could do whatever you want, but because the entries are voted on by everyone, our collective voice gets priority over yours. Suck it up or leave.
