Personally Lacrosse is my favorite sport. I play defense at my local highschool during the spring.

Anyway, discuss the game here.

I used to play lacrosse, I couldn't make my highschool team. But when I did play I started as a midfielder, then became a starting attackman.

I have played a game, poorly, and thought it was a good sport. Uses multiple skill areas and reminds me a bit of hockey for some reason. It isn't really that big over here in Oz but there was a documentary on it the other week and it was saying how it was a growing sport here and that we should keep an eye out for it in the future. More of our highschools over here are taking it on board too, they just have to get the equipment and train the staff... and knowing our government, they ain't going to get extra funding. Good game imo

I love lacrosse. I usually play middie.
Girls is a lot harder, actually. It's so hard to not get a foul. But with guy's lacrosse, you can pretty much shove whoever the hell you want to, haha. If you even hit their stick abover their shoulders it's a foul.
But I still love it

I just started lacrosse, I did a camp earlier this summer. Im probably going to join a Club in the spring.

The only thing I know about Lacrosse is that my bestfriend started to play it last year and she enjoys it. I've never tried playing it or anything though.

Not as pussy as your soccer/football. I hate when soccer players boast about how "soccer has the most injuries out of all sports, so that makes it the toughest". Especially when they don't wear pads and all the injuries are caused by apeshit Frenchmen who can't handle trash talk. My first penalty was for slahing, my second was for unsportsmanlike conduct (I almost started a fight).

What are you talking about? soccer is the ghettoest sport you can find anywhere? I mean sure there are world tournaments but a majority of peopl use a rolled up rag and a couple of posts to play.

The reason its so popular is because its inexpensive to play.

OK anyone who's ever seen a lacrosse match or even a practice would know Lacrosse is anything but pussy.

When I was in 6th grade the game before (with the 7th/8th grade team) was going against the team there, and there was a bench clearing brawl. Apparently two defensemen started attacking one of our middie's and when the rest came to his side the benches cleared. Kids on our team were asking the coach to run in so they could fight with their older brothers. In the end, both teams were suspended for a week.

you play Lax with a shaft with a heading on top. theres a bal you take and shoot in the goal past the goalie. i really can;'t explain, i would have to show you but yeah. i think it is fun.
