Review #2 coming up.

Halo 2 (PC version)

So well this is my first review. I want to know what you agree and disagree with from this. Also I hope I will find time to make one of these every month. Now to the review:

When Bungie released Halo to Xbox around six years ago, it instantly became one of the most popular FPS-game for consoles. Three years later came the follow-up and that one became a great profit for the developers.

The PC-version of Halo showed up in 2003 and recieved a mixed opinion. I thought that the Xbox-version was great in multiplayer but not much more. I liked the story and campaign aswell, but that was not the strong side of the game. My opinion about the PC-porting was more positive though. I am the type that consider FPS are not belonging on consoles and that is why I liked the PC-version better, even if the game just had an average story.

It's been around a half-year (I think) since Microsoft published their new operative-system. With the new creation there was also a new Direct X-version published, and a new mark for games, "Games for Windows". The new functions that Vista offers for games specially designed for the operativ-system are, besides a new Direct X-version, somewhat trivial: a gamebrowser and a so called Live-service that Xbox 360-users recognize. So far you can't count the number of games that support the Live-service, and one of them are Halo 2 that now are out on PC, two and a half year after the Xbox-version.

--------

The Covenant are back

By story, Halo 2 is a direct sequel where part one ended. The Covenant are back and begins the game with an attack against the gigantic space-carried guns that lays in orbit around the Halo that works as a first protection against Covenants. The attack takes place under a ceremony on Cairo Station whare you in the role as Master Chief gets a distinction for your deeds in the first Halo-game. After the intriducing attack, the Covenant starts to dock with their stations and fills them fully with footmen.

After the introduction there are no questions, it is action from the firsta moment. You, together with the soldiers onboard the station, finally succeed to resist the invaders. The battle then continues in the Halo.

My first impression of Halo 2:s single-player campain is how alike it is from the first game. Sure, the game is a direct sequel of the tre year older original, but I would expect it to be more unique. You have for example the ability to dual-wield some weapons, but that is just a small bonus. It is hard to say exactly what is unsatisfying. After a while the fights become very repetitive, rigid and without finess. It is always full of action, but I rarely get surprised by the same enemies that are coming from every possible direction.

--------

Now there wasn't the single-player that made Halo 2 popular. With the so called Live-service, Halo 2 is on PC a different multiplayer-experience compared to the 360-version. If you rather prefer to play FPS -games with an Xbox 360-controller, you get a litte aid - autoaim! Another reason I don't think FPS-games belong to consoles.

After some multi-playing in Halo 2, I can say that it is much more fun than the single-player. There are a total of 7-modes to choose between, and they vary between simple Deathmatch and Capture-the-flag. Though here is another track of the games age and console-background. The tempo is way too slow. Still, the multiplayer-mode is the most advanced part of the game, with tons of maps and more varied gametypes. In other words, a little over average experience.

--------

Windows Vista-exclusive
- Both good and bad, but mostly bad

Halo 2 is the first Windows Vista-exclusive game. Why, is almost incomprehensible (thank you, translation-site). Microsofts recipe seemed to have been: take a three year old game, make it a little better, and release it on a new operative-system that you not yet need. That is Halo 2 in a nutshell.

With the Vista-exclusivity there are also higher system-requirements, something that could have been avoided if they had skipped the "Requires Windows Vista"-mark. The only reason that I can see is that this game is Vista-exclusive because of the new Live-service. After all, it works good, but to make commercial for it with Halo 2 and with such a high price (around 500 swedish kronor (1 dollar = 7 kronor. "Practice your maths"-section ;p) for one years gold-membership) Microsoft really shoots themselves in the foot, not just one time, but two.

So in the end of my review of Halo 2 for Windows Vista, I'm not sure where to start. I can understand why this game became a success on Xbox, but it doesn't belong on a modern PC. This is like old food in a new package, hyped to the skies in an attempt to give Microsofts new operativesystem a boost up. Also, if it was released to Windows XP, I would have a different opinion about it. The game is not bad, it is just an old game that's not designed for a PC. If you want to play Halo 2, do it on Xbox instead.

Barely played the first for PC, but I'd rather get it for Xbox. Both of them are great on Xbox for that matter.

Test Drive: Unlimited

Test Drive: Unlimited is a cargame/simulator.
Let's take the game from the start;
Having nothing but some money, you start off on the Hawaii-island Oahu's airport. You rent a car, drive to the real estate office and buy a house. After that, it's off to buy a car. What you can buy is about 100 cars, and on top of that a few motorbikes (9 if I counted correctly), all based on real editions. Everything from standard-cars to luxuryrides like Ferrari and Lamborghini are available, and if you prefer retro-cars there are aswell Mustangs as Corvettes that are about 30 years old to drool over. But since your house takes most of your budget, you are forced to start of with much cheaper vehicles.

GTA-resembling (or: a strict structured freedom)

The introduction points towards the comprehensive objective - to get money. You do that by finishing
single- and multiplayer challenges, for example you can win races, transport valuable cars between two points with as few incidents as possible, reach pre-set speedlevels etc. You spend the money on new vehicles, for example higher ranked (and by that better) classes. If you want to spend the cash on other things, then you get a new house (more garage-slots to park your vehicles on is the big advantage). The cars behaviour vary depending on what hardware you drive with, but for the most part the drive-feeling is a mix between realism och arcade, and the difficulty can be set in four options.

All this is fairly genre-typical. What makes TDU to a future-example is that the online- and offline-parts with great skill been merged together. Instead of being forced to choose between the two gameparts they are used on the same overview-map; singleplayer-missions are blue, multiplayer ones are red - choose which one you feel like. The structure is amazing and strengthens the entire game-feeling. You won't have to deal with the usual dividing that tends to chop a game in two experiences.

Hawaii-economy

You will meet human opponents in many ways. Choose to compete in races for money, make an own, flash with a full beam to quickly challenge someone - not a big variation, but it works. You can also become a member in racingclubs, buy and sell used parts etc. The multiplayer part works on the other hand not so good as it could have. You can mark drivers as your friends, but to find them isn't easy. More simple and more extensive possibilities here are wanted.

You are as I wrote, on the island Oahu, and there are thousands of miles to burn rubber on. With other words, the game is huge. Plus the fact that the game doesn't have to load between certain areas is really impressive. The graphics are great, but the price for that has really high system requirements. So make sure to have a great power under the shell for a great visual experience. I'd also recommend using really good speakers to hear the good (but not relatively great) engine-sounds, aswell as a steering wheel and pedals. I'd also say that it's a must on every car game for PC's.

The complaints

Missions that becomes very dull after a while, steering and physics that hasn't decided wether they are arcade or simulation and a slight mess in the interface - those are my main complaints. Also, it took a really long time to enable motorbikes. You have to visit every car-store on the island (GPS-marked thouh), and as I wrote the island is huge. That's a really high price to pay to use 9 different motorbikes. But I've always considered them more fun and interesting than cars, so still I really enjoyed the small, but really fun, choice of motorbikes.
Other than that, the game is impressing on many points, maybe privarily the great mix in off- and onlineplaying. I also like the free mission-structure (you choose what and in which order objectives are done), police-chases with fines if your unlawful driving becomes too serious, the massive vehicle-choice, the cars different behaviour and the ability to test-drive any car before buying it.

Test Drive: Unlimited isn't flawless. But it wakes the inclination of exploring and it's a really fun game. In combination with that many things feels new, I give this game:

8,5/10

Test computer:
Intel Pentium® D CPU 3,20GHz
Integrated graphics card
2 GB RAM
Windows XP

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

Genre: Action/FPS
Developer: GRIN
Publisher: Ubisoft

When Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW) showed up at PC in may 2006, the reception wasn't really big. Personally I was quickly bored of the game, but was impressed by the graphics, physics and the huge environment.

Now, the swedish developers GRIN are back with the sequel to the already mentioned game. And now with the sequel in my hand, we can probably be sure that the first game was quite a success, even though alot of bad critics from both reviewers and players.

The story in GRAW 2 is as followed:
You, in the role of captain Scott Mitchell, are back with your companions in the american elite-unit Ghost. The story continues from where it ends in the first game, which is in a worried/restless Mexico in the year 2013. However, this time it has went really bad since the mexican rebels have got their hands on nuclear weapons from Pakistan that they now threaten to launch towards american cities.

My strongest impression from the first game in the GRAW-series was the introduction, combined with the first mission. The view was just amazing. Especially the view over Mexico City was something I've never seen before in a game. However, when I reached the ground I started to notice the engines, aswell as the editors, limits. But more of that later on.

The first mission in GRAW 2 isn't as spectacular as the one in the first game though. You land with a helicopter in a mexican mountain-village where your mission is to neutralize the rebels artillery in the area. But with the lack of a good introduction-phase, the game is aswell introducted worse.
To get into GRAW 2 is still easy. You have three Ghosts for your disposal, that each are specialized in different skills, for example sniping or support.

Easily controlled - but not without problems

To control your companions there is a clever controlsystem that is very easy to use. With help of the scroll-wheel you can either choose your entire squad or a single soldier and command them to perform various actions. The simplicity has two sides. It's easy to use but it's at the same time too limited. You can't for example order your men to crouch or take cover. The problem is solved to a certain limit by the tactical map where you with higher accuracy can control and plan on the digital battlefield. Despite the easy structure, the tactical part in GRAW 2 contains some big mistakes.

When the tactical elements practically disappear due to its limits, you can always hope that the AI makes up for it. Unfortunately even the AI has some mistakes. Even on the highest difficulty, your allies stupidity, the enemies accuracy and cynicism never stops to surprise. Luckily you can control your soldiers movement fairly, but it doesn't stop them from getting stuck in all the rubbish and junk that is spread out here and there on the battlefield.

Earlier I mentioned my objections on the maps design in the first GRAW. Unfortunately the sequel has the same problem. Even though impressive physics, huge space and great textures, they are surprisingly rigid and empty. You can't open doors or interact with the surrounding in other ways. You have for example a sniper-rifle to your disposal that is limited by the game-engine, as the enemies aren't visible at an unlimited distance, which makes alot of the point with a sniper-rifle going lost.

The huge area of the game is limited even by single-track ways and trigger-controlled events, which often is negative for tactical FPS-games. Everything isn't bad though. Some maps are designed great, and it's a delight to be in them. Still I'd wanted an increased variation on the environment, since mostly you're wandering in dirty grey and blown up city-environments. What happened to the woods, the jungle and the polar environment?

The graphics isn't the best I've ever seen, but it sure is nice. Everything from the dust, smoke and explosions to the characters is very detailed aswell as spectacular. Even the sound is great in form of a huge amoune of roaring and impressive sound-effects. Sound from the wapons, explosions and everything else in the environment sounds exactly like it should.

Before every mission, you arm your soldiers and yourself with a big amount of modern weapons of all types. Everything from guns to automatic carbines. Here you will also recieve briefing and objectives for the mission. The voiceplay is alright, but often very annoying. The mouth-movements, synchronization and quality on the computer-animations in the briefing-phase is unfortunately horrible, almost to the limit that you think it's year 1995.

Now to the most important part - the game-feeling and how the game really works. Concerning your movements, they feel a bit stiff. You can either stand up, crouch or lay down. What fits best depends on your opinion, aswell as the situation. Mostly the idiotic enemy-AI is fully unaware of your presence, even run like a madman wearing your military boots. Plus that the enemies doesn't often react when their allies just fell victims for your bullets, even though they are 50 metres from eachother. On the other hand it can be the complete opposite sometimes, so to speak having perfect accuracy aswell as predicting your actions.

A tactical shooter?

The shooting is often very intensive and adrenalineraising, but after a while it becomes very easy since one bullet often is enough to annihilate your opponents. On the other hand, the combination of imbalanced AI, an excessive amount of enemies and idiotic design-choices on maps can make it really hard. To shoot 25 armed mexicans is very easy compared to for example ordering your men to take cover or shoot down a helicopter.

The built'in Gamespy-serverbrowser works alright, but is missing some essential functions such as filters and other important functions in order to be complete. The multiplayer in GRAW 2 lets 32 players fight in co-op or deathmatch. I thought that the multiplayer would be a disappointment, but I was surprised by it. Co-op is the most fun mode in my opinion, where four players are able to play through the singleplayer-maps. The multiplayer is far from perfect but can still be really entertaining.

My impressions of GRIN's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is in the end positive. The braindead AI, the frustrating design-misses, the lack of tactical elements aswell as the high system requirements are serious issues that gives the game a reduced rating. Still, if we disregard these issues, we have a really good-looking and entertaining game along with great sound. However, next time I hope that GRIN will be better at mixing all the indredients.

+ Great graphics and physics
+ Huge environments
+ Amazing sound
- Stupid AI
- Lacks tactical elements
- Relatively short

Well it all depends about how the game runs for you.
Everything from the first impression to your all in all thought of the game.
I've seen games getting rated 8/10 by one person, while 3/10 by another, so it varies alot from person to person.
And a review is nothing that contains perfect information, it's made to give you an overview about the game, so you can choose to either play it or not. In this case, I recommend GRAW 2.

so i wanted to give out some of my own game reviews. i hope they help you to pick out a game or helps you not pick a crappy game.

i can say that i like a particular genre of games or which system is better. i love all kinds and every system. from 1st persons to rpgs. doesnt matter i like em all.

i will try to give the best review as i can, and if i happen to give false information please correct me. and if you disagree with a review please let me know and instead of saying "that game is gay" please give me a reason which makes it "gay".

game: legend of Zelda- the phantom hourglass

system: Nintendo DS

release: 10/01/07 U.S.
10/11/07 A.U,
10/19/07 E.U.
06/23/07 J.P.

Basic- So far from what i can tell its the basic story, zelda gets captured and link rescues her. you pretty much know the story. its still a very enjoyable game. It is a sequal to wind waker so if you enjoyed that then you will definitly enjoy this. The dual screen system works really with this game. you play on the touch screen while the top screen is the map. something interesting that they did with the map is you can bring it to the touch screen make notes about something or mark a location and continue playing the game with the notes on the map. so it makes it alot easier remember where that certain door or chest is located.

pros- pretty much all the controls are done on the touch screen. its a pretty much a one handed game. so you can easily do something else also. you can eat or smoke a cig while playing and not having to put down the game to do so or pause it.

cons- since all the controls are on the touch screen your hand can sometime block the screen. also some of the actions such as roll can be a lil difficult if you dont scribble the right way.

3three3's score- i give this game on a scale from 1-10 (10 the best) i give it a solid 8.5

Well i just finished Assassin's creed about an hour ago.

I guess ill write a little bit about it, ill keep spoilers to a minimum. For the record i played this on the X360.

Assassins Creed

The whole game is fun to play, you dont get tired of playing easily. You play as Altair, a master assassin who is demoted to the lowest assassin level and you are given the task of regaining ranks by performing assassinations. The story has a lot of depth, and there is a plot twist about 10 seconds into starting the game. Id really suggest you take your time with this game. I bought it on the 16th and finished it 4 days later on the 20th, playing maybe 4-6 hours for three of those days so you're looking at about 10-20 hours of gameplay depending on how you play. Throughout the game you're given 1 or more assassination targets (per chapter) which you must take out before progressing with the next chapter of the game. There are three cities in the game, all of which are historically accurate and ill say it, amazing. This game really gives you a sense of freedom and the way the AI reacts to your actions brings it alive. Your'e usually given one assassination target in a city and you talk to the local assassin helper dude in that city and he tells you a bit about your target and you are then sent out to investigate further.
The three types of investigation are Pickpocket, where you pickpocket letters or maps from people who have previously stated in a conversation with someone that they have the info on the target. There is interrogation where you start a fist fight with someone with the info, and when you're done Altair stabs the NPC in a reallly cool fashion (biggrin.gif) and finally theres eavesdropping, sitting on a bench nearby and listening to a conversation. You can also talk to other assassins who have you perform tasks like collecting flags or stealth killing guards in a time limit. All of these investigation techniques will get you important information on your target (his location and mindset, if there will be guards etc.) which will help you perform your task. This system works really well but by the time you are in the last 1/5th of the game you honestly want rid of these investigations as they get boring and repetitive after a while.
The landscape of the game is beautiful with graphics in this game given an A+. Everything is realistically detailed and looks really fucking cool. The combat is great, taking a more realistic sword fight approach. The combat is based on blocks and counter attacks which are critical when taking on multiple targets (which as ive experienced can become hard later in the game when you're required to fight 16 enemies at once). So the combat is fun too, always a challenge.
The actual act of assassination in the game is really up to how well you plan. You might slip up and have to sword fight guards aswell as your target or you might be a really bad ass assassin (an assassassin) and leap from a rooftop, killing your target with your hidden blade.
The weapons are good, using a combo of ranged throwing knives, the hidden blade for stealth kills and the sword for fights with guards.
So far ive only really talked about what the content of the game is like, so does assassins creed really pull everything together? Yeah it does, and it does it really well. The game is fun to play and my criticism of the game is that you are only limited to four types of gathering information which get boring after a while but you are forced to do it to progress. Oh the only other thing is the controls are great but you use two buttonsets, High and Low profile, where holding down the R trigger puts you into high profile, and you're required to hold it down to run and jump or block in fights. This gets annoying when your trigger finger is crying for a rest because youve been running from guards for half an hour. Also there is no difficulty which you can select, which sucks if your like me and want to have more of a challenge playing it the second time. And there is no replay value so this game is likely to be completed 100% once and left with. The whole storyline really draws you in and the ending justifies the quality of this game.
This was well worth the £40 i payed for it. Id give it a 93 out of 100.

Highlights of the game:-
Great Graphics
Good AI
Combat is top notch
Thrilling Storyline

What could be better?:-
Can get repetitive
No replay value
Cannot select difficulty

alright then, I'll review one game i've always wanted to.

Game: Guitar Hero 2

Platform: Playstation 2

This game is basically all about you being the guitarist in a band, and working your way up to fame. You go through 8 setlists, ranging from "opening licks" to "face melters," and a list of 24 bonus songs that you can buy with the money you've earned from your "gigs." Basically, you have 5 fret buttons, and when you pick a song to play, notes will scroll towards you. when they hit the target, press the corresponding colour and strum the strum bar to activate that note. There are four difficulties: easy, medium, hard and expert, and also a multiplayer mode, where you can play co-op (start a band in guitar hero with a firend), face-off (two people battle it out), and pro face-off, (two people battling it out on the same difficulty). Other features are: practice mode, the whammy bar, star power, and more. This is all explained in the instruction booklet or tutorial mode. One more thing: this game can be played with a guitar controller or the ps2 controller.

Pros:
-The first version of this game was called "best music game of 2005," this ones bound to be good.
-Trust me, I've played it. It's awesome
-More people like it than hate it

Cons:
-The price (bundle version- $89.99, just the game, $49.99-$59.99)

all in all, I like this game a lot. My rating: 9.5/10

alright then, I'll review one game i've always wanted to.

Game: Guitar Hero 2

Platform: Playstation 2

This game is basically all about you being the guitarist in a band, and working your way up to fame. You go through 8 setlists, ranging from "opening licks" to "face melters," and a list of 24 bonus songs that you can buy with the money you've earned from your "gigs." EDIT ON THE PROS AND CONS:

Pros:

-Graphics are pretty good
-You can calibrate lag for certain TV's
-The game offers many interactive things (froe example: the store, you earn money with the amount of stars you have from songs, then buy stuff).

Cons:

-Pretty high price
-Like I said, graphics are pretty good, but still could be better

Ok, so I took (spencer's was it?) tip, and tried to include gameplay into the pros and cons. Sorry if I didn't do THAT well, but this is my first review. Enjoy! biggrin.gif

I don't really get your point.
What facts? I'm talking about Halo II for the first Xbox-console.
Penguins
HALO 3! Xbox 360!

Master Chief has new enemy's to defeat. Such as the new armored brutes? Same modes as Easy to Legendary. New maps ( obviously ). New skulls to hunt for, and you can now rip off turrets tongue.gif. When you are done playing, you can go to the 'Theater' which is when you watch your gameplay of you playing your recents custom game, campaign, and more! But when you find a brute, they are always together with one in the middle with a 'Gravity Hammer' which is a new weapon in the game. If you get a good shot, you can make your enemy's go far, up to the sky!

Forge mode, a new mode in the game, it is a map editor, when you can put more vehicles in the map. You can edit your weapons, teleporters, and more!

Vehicles, well duh? Don't they always make new vehicles every game? Tehe tongue.gif. Bungie has made a new vehicle called the 'Mongoose' it is a off roading quad that goes up to 2 people, one on the back, and one on the front. The one on the back shoots his gun he is holding, and the other person will drive. And theres one huge one called the 'Elephant' only on one map, 'Sandtrap' and that area has the Elephant that is huge, prabably can fit 30 people, no joke. Maybe more if you get on each others head. And it is like impossible to flip it. When you flip is on forge mode, when it says 'Press X to flip' it actually says 'Press X to flip Elephant, wait how did you do that?' Because it is the hardest thing to flip out of all vehicles.

And one of the best ones, the Hornet. It is a plane with like helicopter fans on the side, if you think of it =\. It is hard to explain, but it can carry bout 3 people I think, never seen more then 3 get on the hornet. It can shoot a machine gun and 2 rocket launchers at once.

----------------Strongest top 5 Weapons ( To me )----------------

If I could choose any of the weapons for the strongest, it would be....

The missle pod, it can lock on targets like the banshee. The rocket launcher, the spartan laser, energy sword, and the gravity hammer.

Thank you for reading my review for Halo 3.

here is another review from me.

this game is

DEMENTIUM- the ward

its by gamecock media group
licensed by nintendo
rated M

well its a horror first person shooter, the controls are pretty simple and easy to get used to. you use the stylus to look around and either the Dpad or the A,B,X, or Y (if your a lefty like me) to move around. and either the left trigger or the right trigger fires your weapon/ uses melee.

it starts off you being in a room that you were taken to, and you are free to roam after that.

so far i have no idea what any of the story line, nothing has been explained why im there, or whats going on. so im a bit confused on whats suppossed to happen.

the enemies are pretty dim witted and wont attack you unless you come into a certain distance from them so they are pretty easy.

its a really dark game so you have a flashlight out most of the time and you have to switch between that and your weapons if you need to so it can be a little annoying when something pops up.

but i am impressed at the spookieness of the game. so far its a good game minus the complete lack of story lol.

and there is no online play which could have been really cool for the game but it makes up for how large the area is. and its easy to get disorented since its always dark so its kinda hard to find your way around if you dont have a map.

so far i give the game 6 1/2 out of 10.

the further i get in the game i may change the score of the game.

i hope that this game helps you decide whether to purchase the game or not.

that was by far, the worst attempt at a review for a video game.

Here's my review for Tony Hawk's Proving Ground for PS2.I give it a 4/10.

What I liked:The return of the nail-the-trick from Project 8,the bigger and better Create-a-skater,and the aracade like goals that you can play by going to the machines.

What I disliked:No Video Editor,no Create-a-park,no free skate just 2 players, pro footage way too short.

I give Proving Ground for PS2 a 5 out of 10.The levels are fun to skate around in but that's about it.I was really disappointed. No video editor for the PS2 version.Plus I still haven't figured out how to complete the new Nail-the grab. It's hard to figure out.It has to be the most challenging of the Tony Hawk series. Also,no Create-a-park.Plus,you can't even Free Skate. You have to play 2 players.I have two PS2 controllers but one doesn't work,so I can't free skate as any of the pros. Also, the pro footage was way too short.30 seconds?Oh come on! mad.gif Also,I have made it to a part of the game where I don't know if I have finished the game or not. There is nothing on the task bar. It's blank and I'm no closer to doing anything becausse there's nothing on the task bar.I don't understand.Am I finished or do I move on?Overall I was very disappointed. But,since it's my favorite video game series I gave it a 4 out of 10.If it wasn't my favorite videogame series then I would have given it a 3 out of 10.But,either way it's not that good except for the Create-a-skater.

so i wanted to give out some of my own game reviews. i hope they help you to pick out a game or helps you not pick a crappy game.

i can say that i like a particular genre of games or which system is better. i love all kinds and every system. from 1st persons to rpgs. doesnt matter i like em all.

i will try to give the best review as i can, and if i happen to give false information please correct me. and if you disagree with a review please let me know and instead of saying "that game is gay" please give me a reason which makes it "gay".

game: legend of Zelda- the phantom hourglass

system: Nintendo DS

release: 10/01/07 U.S.

Good Review, but a Solid 9.0

Umm... I am going to take a shot at this...

Need For Speed - Pro Street for the PS2

Overall score : 3.7/5

Graphics - I think Carbon and MW looked better, the Pro Street graphics remind me of the GT Pro Series for the Wii - which I have no problem with - but they look more cartoonish than real. As anyone who owns this game will obviously know the game has a damage system. Only when I completely total the car at 250 mph do I see a cracked windshield and a steaming engine. My last concern is that the courses can look blurry at higher speeds, but a lot so you can barely see. So I would give this section a 3.2/5

Sounds - The music I like, although I would like a little more different types of songs because most of them are rock. The sound effects such as the engine but strictly limited to the engine are diverse and well-sounded. But the announcers at each tier and announcing trhough each race - as Smosh would say - SHUT UP! They try to make the announcers sound cool with all of the race talk, but I find it too much -SPEAK ENGLISH! But for the most part I think EA did a good job on the sounds and for that I give this section a 3.8/5

Gameplay - I have a couple of complaints when playing the games. I just wish the police would make a comeback and bust the middle of the race... that's what would make this section a 4. And the only real complaint is that the Casual (Easy) setting I think can be somewhat distracting because it brakes for you. If you've played a lot of racing games before and are a pretty good video game racer - i urge you to choose the King setting. My other more minor complaint is the Map. If you see is is just a big crown with a long attachment and a bunch of small segments branching off. I like the creativity but it is awkward and hard to navigate (sometimes you have to press L1 and R1, others the arrow keys - it's really confusing) and that's why I give this section a 3.6/5

Would I reccomend it? Yes, but if it's for the X360/PS3. The lack of online play dampens the performance of the PS2 version.

Ummmm... the end happy.gif It's a little short but hey - its my first one.
