I use Firefox so do a lot of other people but my friend uses Internet Explorer. I wanna know what people think which one do you think is better? I honestly don't know the difference between any browser lol. Most people on Smosh do so which one do you think is better?

I use Firefox. I don't know if it's the best anymore, but at the time I started using it, it was.

Along with a majority of people, I also use FireFox. The latest version has spellcheck, I have never seen this on other browsers, it helps a lot with sending business e-mail. It's also fast and has a nice popup blocker.

From what I've heard, FireFox is the best one. If you go to Mozilla.com you can download it there. I heard it was the most secure, and easiest to use etc.. I use IE, but I'll be using either FireFox or Safari very soon.

Firefox but i use IE

I use both a lot. I use FireFox mostly to check links that people send me, because it has GREAT virus protection.
But I use IE to browse forums, myspace, etc, and to make searches. It's much easier.

I used to be a diehard fan of Firefox... to me it was the best browser ever. But then they came out with v. 2.0+ ... and I was just not impressed at all. I kept getting all these weird errors. Also, the makers just added stuff that wasn't necessary and didn't help the browser in ways it could have been improved. They have a lot of cool add-ons for Firefox... and that's nice for fluff purposes, but it wasn't useful to me. So I lost patience with it after all the errors and decreased loading speed, ect. I then switched over to Opera. Opera is my favorite browser now. You can choose from some pretty neat skins for the browser, and what I like is minimal size/clean appearance. I want the toolbars/buttons that display to be small so there's more screen space, and I found a great skin for that. The browser loads fast. It's just absolutely perfect for what I need.

I have Firefox installed also though, and I do use it occasionally, for certain sites, but not often.

I recommend having Opera and Firefox installed and using them both for whatever purpose at the time. But for my regular surfing habits, Opera is unbeatable.

Hmm.. I use Firefox also. I think there is another browser called Operia that can be used on Linux or Mac.
Don't know if it's better or not.

I am way too used to Explorer, we had to use Safari in school and I was confused as hell.

I'm definitely a Firefox guy. Internet Explorer 7.0 is a great improvement from 6.0, but I'm just not fond of the new interface.

I use firefox. i used IE for the longest time, but then when i tried firefox i quickly switched.

In my opinion firefox has more options, and if IE has the same options, they hid them so well they cant be used by anyone

I'm not sure, IE has the options, but they're like you say, harder to use and in general the layout and look of Firefox is much more appealing than IE.

i love firefox ore for power users. i use it alot for my web design work. just built in featchers that make it supperior

I was using Firefox since it's out on the "market"..
That's quite long time..
But few days ago something went wrong.
I had to reboot computer and when I tried to start Mozilla again it was keep on freezing.

Now I must use opera. It's not that bad. I've been using it before too, but there were no these "speed dial" links with pictures.
I love this thing.
But still.. Mozilla FTW.

I just downloaded FireFox, WOW. It's so much faster than IE. I always heard that, but I didn't think it was a big deal. I thought IE and FireFox were almost the same. I was wrong.

well just type firefox addons and go to themes download the ones you want and under tools click addons and you can choose them and then it has to restart only firefox and it wil be up

Firefox is definitely better. I'll tell you why. It is more widely used, and more websites are designed to look better through firefoxe's userface, that internet explorers. There are more plugins, and They started Tabbed internet browsing. Windows stole the idea from linux!

i dont know if this happens to other people with firefox but here it goes...

So sometimes when i use firefox it will start to slow up... not just the connection that works fine. firefox as a program freezes for about 7 seconds until it works again. it does this when flash is playing alot and you can not scroll the page.

!!!Warning for advanced users only!!!

i have found a solution to this.(only for windows users)
press Ctrl + Alt + Delete
Select processes
close Explorer.exe (this will make firefox work but get rid of your task bar. you can get it back by:

Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete
select new process
in the box that comes up type "explorer"

one way to change programs when the bar is down is to use Alt + Tab

well, i got IE, firefox looks good tho, like its better from what i've seen. oh, i found out from the apple/iMac website that the safari browser is now avalible for windows, i think im gunna check that out.

dont get safari i have IE firefox and safari firefox is the best safari isnt faster than it however it is faster than IE get firefox the add ons are great u can download videos right off of youtube with some of them safari is most def not the best its harder to use than IE and not as fun as Firefox

The new safari is terrible. Mozilla Firefox is the best browser out, it's pretty much proven on it's features, speed, etc.
