You mean internet relationships as they want to get married some day? No.

what do people think of long distance relationships also online ones can they ever work or all of them doomed to fail.
They can work. There's a couple here in England celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary and they met over the net. The first time they ever saw each other face to face was for the wedding and they live together and have kids now.
It depends on the person and how commited to something they are really. I've had online relationships before. Some lasted a few weeks, another lasted almost 6 months..

I don't understand online relationships. But whatever floats your boat, I guess. I always just assumed that they were for ugly people who couldn't get a date in real life, but Amicles isn't ugly so IDK

if you can make them work then all the power to you. but i cant see many of them working out...if i was to have a relationship with someone it would obviously have to do with their personality but i would also like their company, and over the internet its just not the same

Well....
Online relationships, involved with some phone calls and stuff, before people actually meet each other, might not be that much of a bad idea.
People you chat with online usually shares interests with you, otherwise you wouldn't be chatting.

I hate it when people go to sites like Habbo Hotel and try to get friends there.
Then they end up adding them on MSN, and the people are complete pedophiles.

What..? Why only on MySpace?
I've had online/long distance relationships before, sort of. Some worked out!
But I find it difficult to commit to people I don't see regularily.
I'm a bit of a cyberslag, all truth told.

In my opinion online relationships just don't work. Its kinda pointless if you don't live near the person or are never going to meet them.
I've had online relationships before and its just not the same as if you are going out with someone living near you.
The only way they'd work was if both of you were committed to each other and met up regularly, otherwise its just pointless.

I keep in touch with people over the internet that I've only met a couple of times in real life before but I can't imagine being able to form any meaningful kind of relationship soley online. Maybe some people find it easier to express themselves over the internet though so maybe it could work for them.

I cant fall in love with someone i havent seen, touched, smelled. Its weird how some people can. I have tried long distance (summer love) but after like 3 weeks i was sick of it. And so was he.
btw its hard enough to stay faithfull in a normal relationship...let alone when there is a whole ocean between you. Meh.

I had one once. 9th grade. no lie. my friend kyle told me to IM his friend cory cause the kid was bored, so I did. We ended up talking every night til like 2 in the morning, even on school nights. It was late for me, actually. Im in New Jersey, he was [ is? ] in Colorado. He was pretty sweet, and funny, and idk, cute? We exchanged pictures, all that jazz. We starting talking on the phone, wishing that we could meet cause we were so.. into each other? .. but then I met my -now- boyfriend, and I started hanging out with him a lot and I eventually liked him a lot more than I liked cory.
After I told Cory I had a boyfriend that I could be here with, he pretty stopped coming online and we stopped talking on the phone. Screen names changed, we lost contact. I havent talked to him in a while, though it'd be pretty neat to talk again. Maybe even meet one day, just to meet.

But then I get too attached to online people and consquently lose whatever life I may have had to begin with.
And, as I may or may not have said before, hugs and kisses are nice.

True. But what if the guy/girl is the one you have been dating. but he/she needs to leave the country for some reasons, you still can have a long distance relationship.

my sister got involed in one and he brainwashed her and she ran away with him
