Yesterday morning around 11:00am someone called me, telling me that my freind Ryan had died a few hours ago. At first i thought it was a joke, but then i realized that he was being serious.
Ryan was only 15, and he lived on the other side of the neighborhood from me. He was a really nice, simple kid. If i had to describe him, he was kinda the "live for the moment" person, that would always want to have fun no matter what he was doing. He had epilepsy, just like his 16 year old sister that had also died two years earlier. It use to be so fun playing with him.. He would always make me smile, even if we were doing something totaly sense-less. I remember how just half a week ago how me and Kevin (another friend) would mist water on Ryan, and put dirt on him to make it look like he had gone to B-team football practive, even though he had just skiped it and had played with kevin in his house for the practice time. We did that every day for four straight football practice's until his parents finally found out and Ryan was grounded.. The next morning is when his dad found him dead, lying down in his bed. He tried to do C-P-R on Ryan, but i guess it just didnt work.
I dont know what bothers me the most about him dying.. I think it was that he was always so nice to everyone, even though some of them made fun of him for having epilepsy. This is the first time I've lost someone that really meant something to me. I really cried only for about an hour, but I haven't completly stopped.. I just have a weird feeling that he won't be there anymore playing football in his yard, or trying to make new freinds. I will never forget Ryan, or any of the things me, him and Kevin did to just have fun.

Here are some pictures of him:

Aw dude. I'm sorry.
I've never lost anyone really close to me, not even a grandparent (I have lost a couple but I didn't know them very well anymore). Sometimes I think of what it would be like if one of my friends died, and even that is enough to have me crying for hours.
kingofcolorado97
lulckily it hasnt been my life yet

I'm really sorry for you're loss, I hope that it will never happen again sad.gif
Luckily I've never lost a friend or relative (that I knew)

I'm really sorry to hear about that. Really. I haven't lost any friends yet. Well, I have had a few move when I was younger, and I even cried then. I can't picture having a friend die. And 15 was just way too young! The closest person I've lost would have to be my grandpa, when I was 9. I cried for what seemed to be a few hours, but was somewhat less, I guess, but I still cry to this day.

I've only lost an e-friend, and I suffered so much...I guess it's not the same, but even sadder, what happened to you sad.gif I'm really sorry, it's always sad to loose someone you love, even if the person wasn't wonderful or anything... And I guess there's nothing better than crying till you don't have any other tear, at least it helped me a lot sad.gif

Sad to hear it. Hope his soul finds peace in the afterlife.

That is soo sad, I feel so bad for you. I wish I could say I know how it feels and be able to say something helpful, but I've never been through that. I've lost both my grandpas, one of them I didn't even know, the other died when I was very young. That, and a few beloved pets deaths, are the closest things to your tragadty (spelling...) that have ever happened to me.
Just thinking about losing a friend, oh my god, I can't even imagine. And losing 19, as someone said they did, I would be a reck just thinking about it. But seeing as some of those deaths came from friends killing themselves, that would be the worst. One of my really close friends has those kind of thought every now and then, and so far it seems I've been able to talk him out of it. But thats all you can really do, just be there for them.
I'm so sorry.

it doesn't work for everyone the same way

I knew a girl who had an epileptic fit when she was sleeping at her friends house. They were both asleep, and the girl with epilepsy choked on her own vomit. Her friend woke up in the morning to find her dead. =[
That must have been the worst thing to whitness ever. =[

death is the natural thing you live to die i don't understand why people fear it. i understand grief it is also natural if oyu build yourself out of stone death does not penetrate it just makes you feel empty

I'm so sorry. I know how it feels. My best friend died when I was in 6th grade, and I couldn't even go to school. She died of Leukemia. It wasn't really expected. I went through some bad depression. Everyday, I felt like life wasn't worth living without her. She was always there for me, and I felt extremely lonley.

I hope everything goes well your you and his family.

im sorry to hear about that i hope it gets better for you soon

i'm so sorry for you loss. i know how it feels because i lost my brother. it was a big deal and it was really sudden because he was hit by a car when he was only 8. The best way to deal is thinking about his life and not his death. stay positive
