Creating courses and sharing them online sounds great, graphics are nice, and it's easily going to be one of the best games on the ps3. You are able to put any amount of objects you want in each level you create. By letting the players share their own levels online, it'll keep the game active long after it's realease. Comes out February 1st, 2008.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of people think it's awesome, but for me, it doesn't look like the coolest game ever.

Been a while since anyone's said anything. I didn't know if I should make a new thread but since this was already here I figured, why bother. New stuff about this game came out at Sony's Game Day. It's shaping up well. I think it's going to be fun to play when relieving some stress after MGO.

Been watching the trialers on youtube and i think this game could completly change the video game market.

shooters are great fun like call of duty and warhawk

but its about time we have the happy plat-former back like the days of spyro, crash and sonic (when they where god)

I just love the idea of making your own levels. Plus platformers really need a comeback. I'm tired of all this hype for the next FPS, or racing game. There aren't enough simple run and jump games anymore.

the thing that had the biggest effect on me out of all of the options in the game is that you can actually give people dialog, and connect levels. people could make entire story games. you could even make 2 objects that when they touch they activate a machine, so theres your key 1 and key 2 puzzles

I'm looking forward to it. It should be good, nothing amazing though. I don;t have PS3 but my friend is getting it so I won't even play it that much.

What is so good about this game? It looks gay to me.

It's not supposed to be just a game for racing.

Also, most racing games are the same and they lack variety. LBP is the definition of variety.

Finally pre-ordered it on Monday.

Beta is great.

It's great because the physics are amazing and the fact that you can create just about ANYTHING in the game.

I didn't play the beta, but this game looks so great. Definitely buying it next week.

I can't wait to pick it up. But I migh thave to wait till Wed. or Thursay to get it, even though I did pre order.

I really want it but I'm broke. I'm pissed I didn't get to preorder. I really wanted the Kratos sackboy but there will probably be a way to buy it later.

Regardless, sooo many people are going to have it, it won't even be special.

Update:

It has been pushed back till "the week of Octoer 27th", due to a late catch of some lyrics in a song on the soundtrack of the game.
It's group form Mali, but a couple lines in the song refer to death and souls...so with the game being E for everyone, they decided to take it out.

Fuck.

Sucks that it got delayed. Gamestop called me since I pre-ordered it and said that pre-orders are allowed to get it on sunday the 26th.

Yea I got that call too, it said it was from Texas so I didn't know what it was...then I answered it and heard that computer voice, so I thought it was somethign stupid, so I hung up the phone right as it said "Gamestop".

I don't know how it got into the game in the first place but the fact that they are wasting a week of playing time to take out something no one would have cared about annoys me.

Couldn't they have just released the game on Tuesday and came out with a patch that gets rid of the song?

I know but I just wanted to post a link for anyone who didn't know exactly what was going on.

As far as the patching it instead of delaying it idea goes, that sounds like it would be smart but I guess they were just against putting the game out like that at all to protect themselves from legal issues and whatnot.

Oh and they ended up doing a patch anyway...because some people got a hold of the game on the 21st through Walmart/Target...

So now I don't see the point of a recall in the first place.

So, I called GameStop today and they should be getting it in tomorrow or Sunday. It sounds like tons of places around the country are getting it this weekend.

Yea I picked up my pre-order today at GS.

However, promo codes don't work yet and online servers aren't up yet...

Most gamestops are already selling it to those who pre-ordered, and most gamecrazys are selling it to anyone. I'm not sure about other stores.

The servers went up today =]

Haven't got on yet though, need to fly through my HW first.

Online was unplayable today, being the first day and all. Oh well.

The servers were up for most of the day yesterday.

But towards the end of the night, the servers were temporarily off line so they could fix a few glitches.

is it any good? i was gonna get it but i dont know
