okay, so i live in san diego and its really scarey because theres all these fires around my little beach town and its getting scary! chula vista, which is right next to where i live, might be getting evacuated and all of my friends are freaking out. this is pretty scary, and they skys been funky dirty colored and around the sun its orange. im begining to get used to the smell of fire and the ashes raining down on us. its pretty wierd...in case you live in a cave (yet somehow still have internets?!) heres where you can read about it:

My roommate's friend at UCSD had her classes delayed because I think the fire's smoke got in some of the buildings. Guess their classes have to go on for a few days into summer break when they resume.

i live 2 miles from the valencia fire, near magic mountain. i can see the flames from my porch, and theres like 4 more fires around me, but i havent evacuated yet. And my friends house burned down.

nah i just moved into valencia, so far a tunnel near my house had a huge semi truck accident, and now these fires... so its like bad luck for me

I live near Irvine, so the air quality in my area is really bad. I hate it. It's like you can't even breathe anymore. I hope the wind stops and the firefighters succeed in putting the fires out. And I hope an amber doesn't get to my house...

i go to UCI, and the air is pretty horrible. during the day the sky was a trippy yellow/orange combo.. insanity. but the school sent out an email asking professors to be lenient when it comes to people missing class, so i guess that's one good thing for us.

i think the closest fire is about 10 minutes away. our hall is on the outer edge of campus, so last night our RA came around, telling us to pack some stuff in case we did get evacuated. which sucked even more because my roommates and i had barely finished unpacking ]: we've had the fan going on in our room since last night, pretty much.

the closest fire in California 2 me is the Fall brook one . there are ashes every where and i have a hard time breathing from all the smoke.Man i hope this gets better

Its terrible. Its a culture wasted, kind of like New Orleans. God. Miami.

I live in oceanside and the smoke is really bad but the fire hasn't gotten close to where I live, Hopefully my prayers come true that God will protect us, and everyone else.

I'm affected by all this. My whole town was told to evacuate sunday night, so my family and I left then and have been sitting in a hotel room upstate away from it all since then.

It's really freaky, much worse than the firestorm we had in 2003. So many houses have already burned.
