As few of you probably know, Belinda Emmett died last Saturday. I've just been reading about her and her husband Rove (TV show host of ROVE LIVE) and their story is beautiful. They met in 1999, a year after her diagnosis with breast cancer, and have been inseperable since. I won't go into all the details, but Belinda is a very well known and much loved Australian actress who has been fighting breast cancer for 8 years, but unfortunately lost her battle.
I thought I could start a little tribute thread for her. I know there's not many Aussies on here, but other people might know her too from her television and movie work, probably most famously in Home and Away.

She was a beautiful woman.

Unfortunately over the years breast cancer took it's toll on her appearance.

But she and Rove were very much in love and he stayed by her side until the end.

I think what they had was beautiful and it's a real pity that the world lost a gem like Belinda.

No but I think it was always their plan to have kids after she recovered.

I don't really expect many people from smosh to know who they are.
But this is what happens I guess. Some people were making bets after Peter Brock (Aussie icon in car racing) died, because Steve Irwin died on the Monday and Brock died on the Friday, so people were betting on which Aussie Icon would be the next to go, based on the saying that everything comes in threes.
I guess this was the third and (I hope) final Aussie icon to die, because honestly, I love them too much.

Also, Rove has cancelled his show indefinitely, which was mainly about him and his comedian friends with celebrity interviews. I guess he doesn't find anything happy anymore.
Which really makes me sad. Because even though I get why, and I feel sort of guilty about being bummed about it, but I really loved Rove Live. Made Tuesday nights worth staying up for.

Yeah it's so sad. She had a stroke-like attack on the 4th and died in hospital on the 11th.
She was so beautiful (in all ways), I'm seriously cut up. And the thought of Rove being sad is really bumming me out too. That actually depresses me more, to know that he's going to be so broken probably for years.
They are great people, and it shouldn't have happened when they were so young and happy.

Belinda was 32, by the way.

Why would that be odd? The love of his life just died. I mean, ROVE is a comedy show. He wouldn't be able to do it. Seriously.
But it sucks. I would like to see him at least.

Haha I didn't even notice. I have been busy the past few Friday nights so I haven't had a chance to watch tv. Because unlike you filthy australians, we get Rove on friday night! So it's not really live. But whatever.

They were so beautiful together. I'm so sad for Rove. I don't think he'll bring the show back next year.

I remember when Lleyton Hewitt came second in some tennis open or something, and Rove was like "Ouch, you got second best in the game, AND second best of the Home and Away ladies..." *flashing his wedding ring*
Made me laugh for like 20 minutes straight. Now it makes me sad.
