Yeah, this *is* a valid point...that I already brought up. So you would be the first cool person if not for the fact that you are repeating me.
At any rate, Only certain cultures have that problem. Here in the US, people want different things because there is no cultural reason for one to be better than another. Most people I know, myself included, would want a girl if they could only have one child. But my parents wanted boys, and I do know plenty who want boys. Here in America we are unable to tell, so I believe it should be fine.

Choosing the sex of the child is just an idiotic idea. If we choose what kind of child to have then it is posible that our country will have a majority of either male and female. That is how it is in China, there is a majority of males in the country because having a male is popular than having a girl.
