My life, IS Harry Potter.

I used to like HP, but then it wasn't as good. I pretended I still liked it for a while but I gave up.

my favorite of the movies is the chamber of secrets.
the goblet of fire ran on to long.
and the other two are too much of kids' movies.

I liked the goblet of fire. It was my favorite book and I honestly didnt sit through it going, when is this over? Im a sucker for Harry Potter.

BUT. im not a fan girl.

there is a girl on my field hockey team who is border line crazy about Harry Potter. She went to England where they shot the movie on some tour all about Harry Potter. She owns the entire series .. in 4 different languages. She relates almost everything back to Harry Potter or Dan Radcliff. She obviously thinks she is going to marry Dan Radcliff. She has all those side books about Harry Potter, anything. She's gone to all of the midnight showings and has seen the movies like 3 times the first week it came out.

Its kinda funny, yet also quite sad..

I pity you.

i also didnt like the third. That seems to be the one everyone loves though. I just didn't really like it.

All the books are amazing but the only really good movie is the third. Speaking from a film maker's point of view. The other ones are mostly just cheesy and poorly acted. Cuaron was definitely the best director.

Sure, the books are pretty fantastic, and I have all of them so far, but in no way does my life revolve around Harry Potter. I don't even like the movies. They don't do the books justice.

I think prisoner of azkaban and Goblet of fire were ok films, but you're right, they don't do the books justice.

I read some of the books, they're alright. I wish Harry would die already, he is getting to bitchy. Anyway, The first two movies were done really well, but I dislike how all of them are so inconsistent and miss important points in the books. The third movie really disappointed me, it was my favorite of the books and I think that it could have been better.

Agreed, though I actually hate the fourth one so much more.

I really like the books! The movies are alright but they completely fucked up The Prisoner of Azkaban...the whole layout of Hogwarts changed, Hagrid's cabin ended up on a rocky hillside!? What the hell is that all about! As you can tell these kinda things bug me!

why not jjust read the books, most of the time they are waaay better than the movies. the movies leave out so many details.

aye, I think the books better than the movies. When I saw harry in my head whilst reading, he was way better than Daniel Radcliff. I say 'Go imagination!'.

i still haven't even read the goblet of fire.
i would want to start back at the sorcerer's stone since i don't really remember the books, just the movies. the first harry potter i read was that one in 4th grade.

nope, the last two totally failed, so my hopes are low for the next...i might just wait til it comes out on dvd to see it.
they can't possibly stick to the correct story and details and stuff and to a person who truly loves the books, the movies suck
