No goverment but with some rules. No any type of leaders.

Anarchy is bullshit. Its a pipe dream. These kids preach anarchy just because they don't like living by the rules that society has put forth for them. Get over it. Society cannot live without rules. I am an idealist anarchist, and I have come to terms with these principles. The basis of anarchy is that, without rules, man will revert to common sense in order to live peacefully. But, as it is so prevalent these days, nobody has any common sense.
And, we've already had countless threads on anarchy.

Well, most anarchists oppose nationalism, so there wouldn't be countries. Except for national anarchists, but then again, national anarchists are retarded.

Anarchy would be fun for like, a week, then it would just turn to chaos and disaster, which would be fun for another week.

Anarchy would work if people had self-control, but they don't and that's just human nature. We need a form of government and rules to keep us from being cruel to eachother. Government HELPS that. It doesn't stop it altogether because again people have no self control.

You people really need to learn how to use something called a paragraph and not short sentences.
As has been stated, it would not work because of human nature. I tend to agree and disagree with this notion as for example, communes tend to generally live in peace. However over time, our need for power will come to the fore and naturally people will become greedy and want more than they can have in an ideal anarchistic structure. My point is, it is possible for it to work for awhile, but inevitably we will slip into our old ways and do what we are best at, which will eventually lead to conflict.

If theres no leaders, how would the rules be upholded?
Therefore; no rules. meaning rioting and chaos and murders and such. anything they wanted. its not a good way to run a country.
my dad has the inept[?] belif that people will "move on" from violence and "know" its wrong and not do it, and supports anarchy. you know what that is? communism. i think hes insane sometimes.

Communism sounds like a great idea in theory but in actuality it's essentially unattainable. I think socialism is a more achievable ideal.

Both communism and anarchy are pipe dreams. But their intentions are good.

YES YES YES this is the first REAL frickin answer ive come across HELL YEA....haha before i read this post i was already running a paragraph in my head about what i was going to say..haha...if everyone in the country and nations across this world were to fall to anarchy it would all just start over....and whether the #1 poster likes to accept it or not ANARCHY IS CHAOS...and if you dont beleive me just wait...all the people are going to go CRAZY because they are soooooo free to do whatever they want without rules....it all starts with a thought....."hey now that im free i can go kill all those people i hate" or "now that im free i can do whatever the hell i want".....but then one retard out of them all is going to step up to the mic and start leading if anything anarchy would make this world WORSE not better...dont get me wrong i HATE the gov't and our currupt system of ways...but there isnt a thing we can do to prevent it
life goes something like this....we live and we die not a person in the world can control that...what we do get in life is experiances and memories and what fun would it be to
"BREAK" the law if there are none to break....rules were ment to be broken thats just the way it is...but its the system that endures the conciquences upon us...so do whatever you want be free live loud...and dont get caught enough said

First off anarchy means no form of government so there is no rules. With out government there would be no way of keeping a country. Every thing would turn into vigil anti justice if you want to live in a world like that then fine more power to you but it would be way dangerous and i don't want to live like that. Anarchy is a cool idea but a very bad one. i know the government needs to be fixed but anarchy isn't the answer maybe a revolution but not anarchy.
Plus other countries would invade because no government means no military.

I think you've spent to much time looking at what we have today. All a government is is someone who tells you what to do and is supposedly "Bigger" than you. And for what? Because they have power. What can they do to you? Give you a sheet of paper or take away a sheet of paper. Does it really matter?
And by most religions, it's a bad thing to kill a man. In most households, it's a bad thing to kill a man. We are tought through these methods, and we have kept these values for centuries. I doubt we're gonna lose it all in a day.
And it wouldn't matter if we had no military. Who starts the wars? The government. Every person in the military gets orders from the government.

No.. I'm pretty sure I saw a documentary in one of my classes a few years ago about a nomad country like this.. though they move around a lot.
This is actually a very good idea, just unlikely due to greed and people like Genghis Khan who get their clan together to start more fights with other clans, but not just "fun" ones over shortages or whatever, but ones meant for expansion. Then we're back to where we are now. You overestimate the government though. Sadly, it's almost impossible to live without a government (though a minimal-working one would be FANTASTIC)... all they do is promise protection and, in return, take money and force the world around you.
If it was up to me, I'd either live like a nomad.. or, MUCH better in my taste, to settle down with a clan and we take care of our village by ourself. Set up defenses (if necessary) and all that.. but do things like split food or take care of roads or distribution of land by ourselves. We don't need a government taking most of what we earn and deciding for us what to do with it to create our world? Are we really that lazy... that ignorant... that pathetic? Just some thought... as wouldn't some work to have a much better world be worth it? Don't dismiss ideas because of propaganda. Think about what everything truly is.
