I watched all 12 and a half minutes of it (had to find part two like), didn't bother me at all. I know what goes on in farms and slaughterhouses 'cause I was brought up with it all and I'm still in farming now.
That kind of stuff hardly goes on in the UK and if it does it's dealt with severly. These places have DEFRA and the HSE all over them like a rash.

i dont understand why you had to space between the dfferent parts of the sentence but....just because they are fed the day before, that doesnt make the way they are killed cruel or not cruel. the good thing about the seal hunt is that pretty much the only people who really agree with it are the ones doing it. it is a well known issue that many people find unnecessary and want it to stop. this on the other hand is something that almost everyone finds horrible, but dont want to help to stop it because they use meat every day.

Pff. Weaklings. Worst attitude ever. How can you even say that?
I mean, you can't just give up before you've even started. Ofcourse there will always be people who eat meat, but that doesn't mean you have to. For example, if a child comes up to you, almost dead because he hasn't ate for a week and asks you for some food, would you say no "because there will always be people starving"?
And you would be doing a lot by becoming vegetarian/vegan.

You had a bad diet. Just like ALL diets (meat, no meat, whatever) if you don't balance it out, it's unhealthy.
It has been proven that a balanced vegetarian diet is healthier than a balanced meat diet.

Don't feel guilty. As animals ourselves we're entitled to consume whatever animal that seems appetizing to us. I know I'd never be able to give up chicken myself.
But those farming conditions? Unacceptable, and the hormones they feed those animals are hormones we end up eating ourselves. No wonder American kids grow so fast; when I was in Colombia when I was 12 some kids thought I was like, 20. But something should be done to ensure that the animals go out as "painlessly" as possible.

To those of you who are saying or thinking, "I can't make a difference..." Here's a story for you.
About 100 years ago I was in Dubai.. On the long sandy beach there were millions of starfish stranded on the shore and unable to get back into the water. I saw a man throwing them back in, one at a time. I said to him, "What are you doing, you'll never be able to make a difference." He picked up a starfish and threw it back into the sea and said, "I made a difference to that one."

I'm okay with vegetarians, it just bothers me when they don't have a reason for being one. Like I know a bunch of people who are vegetarian/vegan and if you ask them why, they become really defensive and say "It's none of your business" or "Why do you care?" it bothers me when people say they are fighting for something when they don't actually know what they are fighting for. Also, being vegan or vegetarian can be harmful. I know a boy and both of his parents are vegan. A couple years ago, he became really really sick, and he had to stay in the hospital for a really long time. He got sick because he had been eating all of the vegan food his parents made and had not been getting enough of the right nutrients from that alone. The doctor told his family that that sort of thing was pretty common in families where the parents are vegetarian/vegan. Now the boy eats meat and he is fine.

I agree with you that it is lame when people just do it for no reason.. But they soon fall off.
But that story about the boy. It's not because he wasn't eating meat that he felt sick, it's because his parent obviously didn't have a good diet for him. And he'd probably be fine not eating meat, just aslong as he has a balanced vegan/vegetarian diet. And i could argue that story with the millions of kids that get sick and eat meat.
