So I just got my PSAT scores back today at school. And mainly I'm curious what other people got on their PSAT, SAT, or ACT. I haven't taken the real SAT yet, but last year a took a practice SAT, which is a full length SAT but the scores don't count. I got like 1380/2400 on that and really fucked up. On the PSAT i just got back i got 188/240 with 52/80 in critical reading, 76/80 in math, and 60/80 in writing. i have a 3.4 GPA.

My PSAT was pathetic, I think. Of course because I want to see the paper, I can't find it. I did better than most people, but I don't know- I did the worst out my friends.

My first SAT wasn't that great either. I didn't take it seriously AT ALL and my score was pretty bad. I can't find that because its in the same folder as my PSAT.

I recently took the SAT's again two weeks ago, so I should know that score soon, I'll post that when I get it, hopefully I did better than last time.

It's not like I'm stupid either. I fucked up my GPA my freshman and sophmore years because I didn't take school seriously, never did my homework, and got horrible grades. Last year and this year I'm doing A LOT better, but not enough to make up for my past mistakes.

But whatev. Most schools are don't even care about SAT scores anymore so I guess thats okay?

My PSAT score was 59's in Grammar and Critical Reading and a 57 in math. So a 175 overall, I'm a sophmore.

my gpa is abooout a 3.5. thats a guess, though. the ranking system at my school is ridiculous because you get more credit for some classes that others, so i can have a higher gpa than someone, but be ranked worse than them because i'm not taking abunch of rank-point classes like band and shit.

um..forgot my PAST score...they were on the higher side cause i remember my guidance counsler not shuting up about it...but my GPS is around a 3.9 and my class rank right now is 18 outta 185...im taking my SAT in June....yup

Although I am a Canadian, I applied to the University of North Dakota for aviation so I was forced to take the SAT 1 on November 1st at the University of Alberta. I ordered the SAT study guide and it was f*cking huge.

Although I am confident I did well, I did not receive my scores on account that I did not request them back. Regardless, they were sent directly to the University of North Dakota. Maybe once they get them, they will email me, and let me know how I did. But until then...

Hasn't anyone taken the real SAT's? I took the old one. Where the score only went up to 1600. I got a 1220.

My first SAT was 1150 and I took $500 dollar classes just to bring it up. So I took the test again and I got 1250, I say that classes were a waste BUT the one thing I learnt from that class was what a "dirty sanchez" was. Scoring was out of 2400, so 1250/2400.

As for GPA, my classes for senior year are easy ones cept Trig which I currently have an "E", so last quarter was a 3.54. First time I had honor roll since 8th grade.

I only remember my ACT scores, and i scored 35/36 overall, if it goes higher than that, god only knows what im telling you i got.

My GPA is in the 3.9-4.0 area. I haven't gotten my PSATS back yet but I know I fucked them up because I didn't answer all the questions. I take the SATS in the spring.

My schools ranks weird also. It does that weighted thing where if someone takes all APs they get ranked higher than someone with a higher average but not as difficult classes.

(not counting the writing with writing add 550 to that)

I got a 2130 on the SAT. Mine was one of the first SAT's to switch over to the 2400 system.

PSAT was a 225.

I also did the Test over that Score like 3 weeks ago and my results were:

1450/1600

800 in the math part, 650 in the Grammar & Critical Reading Part.

In 8th grade I got a 1490 on the PSAT that went up to 1600. That was the highest in my school but only one class took it and it was all 8th graders.

In 9th grade I got a 1610/2400. THey make me take it every year cause I'm in AVID.

I haven't got my scores back for the one I took this year as a sophmore yet.

In Queensland (Australia) we call that the QCS, big end of high skool exam. I do it next year. Not looking forward to it, I've been told it is extremely hard.

I haven't a fiddler's fart as to what any SAT, ACT's or Cat means but it sounds quite funny!

Over here we have 6 years of Secondary School

3rd YR = Junior Cert = 10/11 Subjects + Normal Grades

6th YR = Leaving Cert = 7 Subjects = 100 points a subject - higher level
60 points a subjet - ordinary level

They judge your best six and add up the points for each subject.
All Irish University Courses have a minimum amount of points for entrance and depending how well you, did you can enter into any course points permitting.

Hard System but easy to understand

Everyone here does about 8 Standard Grades before they leave school. If you stay on you take between 4-5 highers and then in your final year you can do up to 3 Advanced Highers. Universities generally only ask for Highers but Oxford and Cambridge expect AAB grade at Advanced.

I'm currently doing 5 Highers and Im predicted A grade in all of them.

Ahhh! Why doesn't anyone take the ACT anymore? Everyone only takes the SAT. I never took the SATs and I have NO idea how to read the results.

In Middle school my GPA was 4.0 I think.

Since I moved before highschool I never did any SAT's etc. But I did GCSE's and I passed all of them except religious studies [because I dropped out of that class].

Since I don't go to a grammar school anymore [I've decided to go elsewhere and just do art & design] I'm sitting on a distinction [which is the highest] and hopefully it'll stay that way until the end of the year haha.

I totally took the ACT and not the SAT.

I just took the SAT in November and i got like a 1770 and i took it again in December and got ...1810. I dont even know if those are good scores btu whatever...I studied about 20 minutes both times so I didnt really expect to do well in the first place.

Took ACT as well but haven't received my scores. I know I did terrible on the ACT though because I guessed for about half of it. I cheated and filled in the bubbles after I finished the test...oh well they didn't catch me.

I got my PSATS back today, but...I seemed to have left them somwhere downtown.
I don't remember my actual score now. I do remember that I did better then 84% of the people that took it.

I actually think they are more equivalent to the A-levels. I don't really think there is an equivalent to the GCSE's there.

I got my PSAT score from this year. 1700. It's a 90 point increse since last year so I'm happy.

I took the PSAT in October and got 1800 out of 2400.

isn't really as good as i wanted. it's about average i guess.

Reading: 23 (ran out of time with still one more passage/10 questions left...)

i took the sats in january and got a 1790. i could have done soo much better, though, so i'm taking them again over the summer. i did terrible on the essay portion.

i'm taking the SAT in april i believe.
and then i'm most likely taking the SAT II for English, Math, and US History or Biology in June, unless i do really well in track and somehow make it to state finals this year...?

i want a 2000 on the SAT.
i think i like the SAT more because the math is a lot easier. and they give you more time.
the english portion is a lot harder than the ACT though because it's more definition of words than anything else.

I'm taking the SAT next Saturday and the ACT in April, so I have to wait for that.

I did fairly well on my PSAT though. 97th percentile or whatever. I just added up the highest bits of my estimations and it says 2090.


We took a practice ACT that I was not aware we were taking and I didn't sleep that night. My score was so shameful I think I suppressed it from my memory.

basically yea. and its also a test that, if you make high enough, you can qualify for the national merit scholarship. but you can only miss like one problem or something for that :\

That's because you're supposed to add 1000 to that score. It tells you what you would get on a SAT. Well that's what my teacher said.
