If your best friend got in a verbal fight with you boy/girl friend whose side would you choose?
this happened to me the other day, and my best friend said she wouldn't pick sides...which made me think she was siding with him...but I don't know ....what are your thoughts?

I say Friends first. They have been with you longer, and you need to learn to work out your differences with your b/f or g/f anyway. There's no harm in showing him or her that your loyalties lie with the one who's commanded your respect for the longer period of time.

I say friends first, but it's easier for people to take their boyfriend's side because they can't trust them as much as their friends. They know if they argue with you, you'll always be there for them, whereas the guy probably isn't a sure thing and they're still in that 'I need to impress him' stage. That's how most people work, anyway. They push away the people they love.

Easy peacy, I had alot of verbalfights with my friends, so they can take that, and if I had a girl, then she would know I am one who get into alot of verbal fights...

But I try to shut up the most of the time, since I almost got nothing important nor serious to say abou stuff.

If he's just insulting your girlfriend, then talk to him and let him know that it's not okay. But if they're mutually fighting and hating each other then don't take sides and let them sort it out, make sure they know that you're not taking sides and they have to sort it out.
