For my 16th birthday I got a Zune 30GB. I thought it was awesome since it could play movies, hold alot of songs, and pictures. What I didnt know was that it was made by supergenius's at microsoft and that the 14 day free trial that came with the the zune relay does what it says, it canceled my music that I got during the trial and all my videos. I tried to burn the songs that I saved on my computer but that didn't work since it was from the zune market place and there's a copyright thing on it that dosn't allow you to burn the songs. There's a age rule that if your not 18 no bad ecplicit songs or bad movies. The podcast(like the ipod) but these podcast can go away in two days unless you change it on the options. Sometimes when you plug it in to the computer it doesn't connect so that is also a headache.
If you want a Zune, listen to me and get a ipod its better I hope

P.S. If it dosnt connect when you plug it in to the computer then unplug it and hold 'up and the back button to reset it then plug it in to reconnect.

I would rather get an iPod.

More people seem to like iPods, but I've heard some really good things about the Zune. It's probably worth it.

Apple Ipod FTW Zune is a cheap copy

I know a few people with Zunes and none of them have a problem with it. I don't own an iPod or Zune and probably won't be getting either but if I were it would probably be Zune.

I heard alot of bad things about Ipods and Zunes. Ipods sometimes have a habbit of deleteing songs or atleast thats what my friend Katie said, and my Jessica hates her Zune she's having the same problem. So I just got an Mp3 player and it works wonders, and it's a pretty red color oOoOoO. Lol.

I have absolutely no complaints about my Zune. It works perfectly fine and I have none of the problems you seem to be having...and the reason it deleted all the songs you had during the free trial is because you have to continuing paying to keep the songs. The minute you stop paying the monthly fee for unlimited songs on the Zune Marketplace, it will erase all the songs you'd downloaded.

Zune is nice, automatically adds your music to the zune program, ready to sync. if you put all the music into one folder that is.
you can sync the zune wirelessly upon entering your home if you have a wireless network. Sending songs is cool, and you can keep em if you want to.
I have a Zune and an Ipod. I like Zune more. Ipod has the market right now though.

I ordered a Zune yesterday. I had a hard time deciding between a Creative Zen, Sony Walkman, and Zune (Ipod isn't that great, no offense to anybody).

I didn't get my Zune yet, but I heard it was very good. Mine is only 4 gb, though.

I'd stick with Ipods.

Ipods don't delete songs. What happens is that if you delete a song on your computer then rehook the ipod back up to update it, it automatically makes the same changes you made. That's one of the downfalls of Ipods (and Zune obviously does the same thing), you can't just add and delete music at will, you have to make retarded playlists of your songs and keep connecting and re-connecting the Ipod to change things, plus you must store everything on your computer forever, which often isn't logical because not everyone has room to store up to 30 gigs of music on their computer... A friend of mine paid for hundreds of songs in Itunes and then her computer crashed and she had no back up of the music, so if she hooked her pod back up to the computer it would automatically erase everything because you can't take songs off an Ipod and put them back onto the computer.

if you delete a song off your computer it doesnt mean youll have it deleted from your ipod next time you plug it in
the music on your comp. is stored in your itunes library and is set apart from the music on your ipod which you can only rearrange when you have your ipod plugged
deleting music from your ipod is simple
just click a song and then click delete and adding music is easy too
all you do is drag a song over your ipod icon
its not hard
the only way that you will replace music on your ipod is if you sync your ipod after plugging it in and all that does is put every damn song in your itunes library onto your ipod
even the music you buy from the itunes store is seperated from your other music
itunes does a good job of sorting your music and makes it easy to add music

Ipod dont stay charged for very long, atleast my friends' doesnt. She could charge it for over 2 hours and it will work for about an hour or two (or less),and she told me she could only put songs from a Cd onto her ipod, so she would have to burn a cd then she would have to rip to cd and sync it to her device. I mean idk if all Ipods are like that. I just know her's is a peice of shit atleast. My mp3 stays charged for like three weeks, and it only takes like two seconds to sync it. I just drag, drop and click.

My freind can put tons of full length movies on his im not sure if your supposed to be able to do that, though.
smosh_fan_19
well im more of an ipod person on account of i have 3 of them.
i never thought about getting a zune because i heard through the grapevine that the zune sucks and thats why i am a big fan of the ipod and not the zune i think that ipods are way better then the zune but thats just me.
