is this just a popularity contest or is it actually about the talent, because its always the same people who get the votes and i worked really hard on mine and i hardly even get votes. i'm not trying to bias but these arent really the best signatures.

Its about the talent. The same people get the votes each week, because those same people happen to be very talented. Maybe you think your signature is amazing because you spent long on it, but the rest of smosh might think the colors are hideous, the text doesnt fit the sig, and it looks generally unprofessional. I could spend an hour drawing a picture of dog shit, but in the end, its still dog shit.

also, jag almost never enter sotw anymore - and he's getting the most votes. and as mel says above, people generally always get voted for (like gspot and mrherron) because their work ALWAYS looks fantastic and, dare i say, professional. they too work hard, but unlike your sig, their's managed to have quality.

Honestly, you're being annoying. It was a test song to see if a theme like this would work. I happen to like that song and thought itd be simple enough for a test run on this theme and we can do the same concept with a more abstract intellectual song YOU choose next time.

Anthony Green is talented, his album just doesn't equal to what he was able to do in Saosin or Circa Survive, and he's a great lyricist.

Lawl, I made mine in five seconds, just because I wanted there to be another entry.

I didn't mean to strike a nerve. I thought a little lighthearted ribbing would be a funny theme for my signature.

The basic concept for this theme is nothing new to SOTW. We've done music-based themes before; the only difference this week is that a specific song was mandated. A test wasn't necessary. Sure, I hate the song that was chosen, and I would have picked a different one that A) I like more, and B) I feel would offer more room for creative expression, but chalk that up to simple difference in musical taste. Again, nothing malicious was intended.

I understand. But Im just annoyed.
