Saying that, I have one in my house right now helping to install our new kitchen. He laughs at everything and he looks like he just walked out of the 1980s.

For me, it really depends on what do you have to say to the person, if it's just randomness, then texting is better, if it's something important, then I'd call the person.

Depend on the person and where I am.
If I need to be quiet or something (like at school, or if it's really late at night) then I'll text.
Otherwise, calling is an option.
For the person, if I know there's enough to talk about or if there's already a reason for me to call them, then I will.
But if I'm just bored and feel like talking, then I'll start by texting.
And I guess it depends on how many minutes I have left, since I have unlimited texting.

dude, fuck texting. Seriously, if you want to just get straight to the point, just fucking hit my ass up, and tell me. If you wanna have small talk, just a little chat, hit my ass up and then we'll hang out and make conversation.

deffinately texting. i just dont' like talking on the phone that much cuz most of my friends can't hold a convo on the phone, but they can in person: I don't get it either. lol but ya, it's true about the akward silences and goodbyes: when you're texting, it doesn't get akward!

Lolz! That is one of the funniest things I heard of.
For the most part I like calling people, texting just takes too long. These are a couple people though I text because as someone said before sometimes it gets too awkward.
