Its starting to rain here again.

The news..and my parents..always refer to good weather as sunny and warm.
Suicide rates are higher in places where it rains more often.
It's been statistically proven that the rain causes more depression than other weather.

I don't get this! It has like...the opposite affect on me. I LOVE the rain, and I HATE the hot sun. I wish it was always gray, dark, cold, and wet. When its hot and sunny, I hate being outside. All it does is make me tired. Rainy weather makes me want to be outside.

Lol, is anyone else like this? What is your favorite weather?

Since i live in Scotland i have to deal with being cold n wet for about 10months of the year.

it's a good thing that i like all kinds of weather (except when it's too hot, like more than 28ºC) cause i live in a city where all the four stations are able to happen in just one weak.
today at morning was really cold and there was some rain clouds in the sky. by midday the sky was blue and the thermometers were marking 25ºC
and now it's very windy! probable it's gonna rain this night.
i really like when it's raining, it's refreshing.

I love when it rains outside, and im all cuddled up in my blankie, drinking hot chocolate inside:)

Yeah, I hate hot weather. I like gray skies, snow/rain/below 50 temperatures.

actually i really enjoy it being sunny out. if there is a drought then sweet. more sunny days for me.

It's rained here in my town in California for the first time in like.. forever (or less dramatically, maybe since last spring).

Anyway, I was getting sick of the 90 degree weather half way into October. The rain was really calming and all that.

But if it were to rain for like... a month straight, I'd want to die.

I did a science project on this. It's called SAD (Season Affective Disorder) I made a questionaire for people to fill out on certain days (started in September, when it was still hot and ended early December). Found out some interesting things.

I probably have it, I'm always bummed out in the winter and the rain and happiest in warm weather. Apparently Seattle once had an alarming suicide rate, and coincidentally it rains there a lot....

Not when I'm outside. I had to stand in it for an hour last week to get into a haunted house that turned out to be ultra lame. I hate the feeling of soaked jeans. But I do enjoy it at night when i'm going to sleep, it's so peaceful.

i personally am craving the rain... though.. where i live the coldest it gets is about 25oC.... and when it rains it floods... we had to get a boat so we can get in and out of our outback community during 'wet season'... and the MAJOR problem in that is that the flood waters are full of crocodiles.... so its a bit of a love/hate thing...

I hate hot weather/summer because I get hayfever and so I'm really angry all the time. And I hate rain too, why would you like it? Rain only doesn't suck when it's absolutely torrential and there's lightning & shit and I'm inside all nice and warm.

I rather the rain then the stupid fog we get in Newfoundland. It's foggy every morning, and then it either turns into rain, snow, or hail. Every day of the year.

And it's never warm.
