Ok, I've found, since my last relationship (the one that I lost a year and a half of my life from) I tend to be attracted to guys that are younger than me. I'm the type of girl (girlfriend if you want to say it that way) that likes to be there for my guy when he has an emotional moment. I'm really into cuddling and I like to hold my guy's face a lot or stare into his eyes while both of us aren't speaking, but at the same time, we're talking about everything. I'm very motherly, kind of, I guess you could call it that. I'm also kind of playful, too. None of the older guys like that and they're just into sex (I'm not saying ALL older guys are; I'm just saying the ones I KNOW), like majorly; they're sex freaks. Guys that are younger than me don't seem to care about it as much as the older guys. Now, I know I would never date a guy younger than me (considering I am 18 and they are all jailbait to me) unless I was like 21 and they were 18; that's obviously different. I guess what I'm trying to say is.. is it so wrong I like younger guys (between 15-17) and am not attracted to older guys at all?

But it's the opposite for me. The Younger guys are all immature, live for drinking and smoking and are just after lots of free no -strings sex while most of the older guys are abit more mature and have more respect.

I don't think there's a problem at all. I know what you mean by quite a few of them are "sex freaks." My mom is older than my dad by 3 years, and a few of my aunts are older than my uncles. I guess people assume girls usually date older guys and guys date younger girls, (which is kind of true) but it dosen't have to be that way.

Older guys are immature too. Its really not an age thing...Some guys are just more mature than others. Seriously, "younger guys are all immature!" is such a cliche statement. I know a kid who is 10 years old (boy) and he is so mature for his age. Maturity of an adult. Age usually affects your maturity, but not always. Like you said, older guys are immature too. And that's a fact.

As everyones said: its fine. It would be worrying if you liked 8 year old boys or something, but not those like 3 years younger than yourself. A friend of mine who is 18 was going out with a guy barely 15, and they seemed sweet together. Age really comes down to the individual. Not all 15 year olds are immature, and not all 17+ year olds are sex-mad. I say go with your insticts.

I have a two year rule, either two years older or younger but in special circumstances, if they're older, I'd be willing to go to three or four. I'm exactly like you in the fact I like mothering as well, I'm nurturing. Don't feel bad about it, you're just like me (Except I like older guys too.)

Well my mom just married a 49 year old guy and she is only 35, 14 year diffrence.

My on again/off again best friend is dating someone 7 years older than her, and I find it sort of sick, but she's happy. So happy, in fact, that she's fucking someone else behind his back. Ah yes, anyway.

I think two or three years either way is fine.

My sister is dating someone in my year (she's three years younger than me), and they're doing great, despite immaturity on the part of some people.

And I'm sort of seeing someone two years older.

But, the thing is, the other way round just doesn't seem to happen much at all. I don't personally know any guy who's is dating an older girl (in years, rather than in months). Maybe it's just me. But anyway, I'm fine with that. Or I would be.

And age doesn't matter if you're older because the emotional ages have pretty much levelled off.

It depends on the person, obviously. I expect the only reason it is usually seen the other way around is that girls are in general more keen to grow up and are always hoping/waiting for their guys to grow up too, because admittedly, the majority of guys below the age of say, 30, are not in as much of a hurry to stop being a kid/teen.
