I don't think I've ever really been in any.
I mean I've been through hurricanes, but none of them ever hit Sarasota badly [as in they normally just skimmed across and went elsewhere]. Although, one time when I was like in kindergarten we were on the bus home and there were seriously three tornadoes in different directions and I s'pose that was quite scary.

i was playing football, and i made a save, but the ball flew over the railings. so we walked round to get it, but then thought why not climb over the fence to get back. i slipped and fell right on the mteal spikes, jewels first! i also punchured a hole in my hand. my tracksuit bottms stil have the hole from where the real damage was done. but to be fair we won the match afterwards so it wasnt too bad, even though my hand was spraying with blood. oh the nads wer ok, but yh that was my accident, though it doesnt really compare to the accidents above. though i was probably hurt more then the people who managed to miss these hurricanes. i mean physically. no offence.

Oh yeh and when I lived in Cyprus there was a massive like forest fire and we had to get evacuated becasue it was coming right up the valley behind our house.
And something completely different - but most serious accident I've had is falling off a see-saw bursting my leg open (not a pretty site). Yeh I had to have plastic surgery.

Three cars accidents, two tornados, one massive hurricane that made the walls of my house bend in and out. But the worst thing was probably quading in the mountains, and then hitting a tree a rolling down the mountain-side. I ended up being ok, just some bad cuts and bruises, but if the quad had of landed on me, as I watched it flip just barely missing my back, I would have died.

i was travelling in the sahara and there was a huge sandstorm. i was scared shitless but the people there calmed me down and said it was normal. it wasnt till a while after they told me it was the biggest one they had in years and they were scared too.
i've also been in a car accident a couple of years ago. everybody who was in the car was alright, outside of it someone had more...problems regarding the accident. it all ended up alright though.

when i was little (like 5 maybe) there was a tornado that came really close to my house, prolly like a half mile away, and it was ripping shingle and stuff right off of my house and it tore up the fence by my driveway
of course i was just a little kid so i thought it was fuckin cool as hell lol
also i live RIGHT BY the mississippi river (as in about 80 feet away) and when the water rises in the summer it gets REALLY close to my house and my basement gets about a foot of water in it. one flood was pretty bad and my neighbors all put sandbags around their houses but mine sits up higher so we were fortunate enough to not have to do that.

I was in a car once and a drunk driver slammed us in the front. Luckily, everyone was alright (including the drunk guy). Just left with bruises and scratches. Our car was totaled, though.
This isnt a Car accident, but once it was raining nonstop for 5-6 days STRAIGHT.. I don't know the exact amount of rain total but it was atleast a foot. Anyway, my basketball hoop started floating down the block, fell in the middle of the street while still floating down my block. So I had to run out in a foot of rain and pull it back into my front lawn.
When I was going to get it, I lifted it up so it would be easier to pull, but it fell ontop of me so I just had a bad back for the next week. I eventually got it in my lawn, though.
The backboard was destroyed (from falling in the middle of the street) and it was all scraped up, so we got a new one.

One time it was hailing here and each piece of hail was about a little bigger than golf balls. At the time when it started me and my friend were outside on the trampoline. On the way in one hit my friend in the head and knocked him out and he started bleeding quite badly. I luckily only got hit a few times in the arms and legs which only left bad bruises. Ive been in 2 car accidents. The first was when i was 12 and my friend did not have his belt on and unfortunately this had cost his life. The second one was not as serious but it was still pretty bad.

I've been in loads of car accidents [although everytime, I've escaped injury].
+ one time was when we were stopped at a traffic light and either we were a bit over the line or another car was farther than it should be, but this huge truck drove past us and completely took the whole front of our mustang off. The funny thing is, the car didn't even really move haha.
+ Another time was out in the country and the road was pretty damn dark, but anyway we were driving going like 80mph and we were on our correct side of the road, but this car was trying to overtake this huge truck, but couldn't do it in time so we had to completely swerve off the road. I must say I nearly had a heart attack! Hahaha.

HMM. Well this isn't a natural disaster, really. But it was right after the London Bombing. I was in Washington DC., near the whitehouse, heading down towards the white house in the subway, then all of a sudden, the subway came to a stop and we were all quickly evacuated from there. Apparantly there was a bomb threat...Everyone was screaming & rushing out of the terminal & there were these army dudes in gas masks & federal people surrounded.
CRAZY, I TELL YOU.

I've been in too many earthquakes to count, one of them was like, a 7.2 or something. I remember it not being a big deal though, I was over at my freind's house, and we just held the hamster cages on shelves. Probably not the best place to stand, either, right under bookshelves and all. *shrug*

Oh boy have I. I'm a magnet for natural disasters.
1) Forest fire. They evacuated two subdivisions completely including mine. In the end, no huge damage. They got it under control and it only destroyed one home.
2) Hurricane Juan. This basically tore apart both Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island a few years back. Homes were destroyed, one guy I know actually had a sail boat smash through the back of his house (that's what you get for living by the yacht club), tress ripped up roads, powerlines, etc. Loads of places were without power for 2 weeks or so.
3) Giant snow storm nicknamed White Juan. This storm shut down Halifax and half of Nova Scotia for a week. Everything was shut down, there was a city wide curfew, no public transit. It was a retarded amount of snow.

Yeah, there's forest fires here a lot. Dry and hot, that'll do it. The closest forest fire to where I live was maybe...15-20 miles away? That was a few years ago.
