I think getting surgery where it is needed is perfectly fine.
But getting too much and making yourself fake I don't like.

I feel the same way. I was watching a show, and there's this woman that had over 30 plastic surgerys because she thought she wasn't pretty. But the thing is that, she was gorgeous before and now she looks disgusting. People take plastic surgery too far these days.

Also like when they do Liposuction (sp?), like, after they're finished all those bruises, and when they're doing it all that fat, it's just so gross. if i were to ever get plastic surgery i would get a nose job because mine is all...i don't know i can't really describe it but it doesn't really have a tip, it's kind of flat and like a button nose.

Not to put you down or anything, But I think i have like the perfect nose. there's no bump in it like some Jewish people have, its like alined perfectly. but kind of does seem long..

my nose sucks, I have a bump on it and everyone says because of my nose, I look like a turtle...my mom even says it...grrr.

My friend had to get reconstructive surgery for her jaw after an accident. I would do stuff like that. But I wouldn't alter myself if there weren't a damn good reason. Like reconstructive surgery.

Looks are important. They can get you ahead in life. This is been proven over and over in western culture. Those who are naturally attractive have this unfair advantage over those who are not as attractive. Previously there was nothing the less attractive could do to compete with the more attractive. However, plastic surgery levels the playing field.
I would not choose to get plastic surgery because I am happy with my appearance, and I do think I was a bit lucky to be reasonably attractive. If I was more unfortunate looking I would be happy to know that I could change that.

I want to get my nose done and sometimes it's okay but I hate when people are just a little bit unhappy about something so they spend thousands to get stuff done when they don't need to...just trying to be perfect

I don't have a problem with plastic surgery, but Botox injections make no sense to me. You have venom injected into multiple areas of your face and its not even a long lasting procedure. That and Collagen is just stupid in my opinion.

Here is my thoughts on plastic surgery:

I would only get it if I was in a horrendous accident that messed up my face or something like that.

Heres the thing though, if I was, then I would probably have them make some of my flaws a little better (maybe like give me a normal jaw line so I don't ahve a square face).

Also, I'm not going to lie, if I got breast cancer or something and they had to remove them, I would totally go up a few sizes when they put the fake ones in.


For other people I thiink its ridiculous unless 1. they got in an accident or 2. they were born with some severe misfigurement.

Example would be one of my friends in middle school had a family that had pretty pointy ears, when she was born, her ears were really pointy. Her mom desided it was best to get them a little rounded out so she wouldn't get made fun of. They still point a bit, but not to the degree they did when she was born.

Another friend was mauled by a dog when he was like 4. So he had to get plastic surgery to fix part of his face.

I think plastic surgery is necessary sometimes,especially if there is a permanent affect like accidents or something.
but botox is not needed at all,and why injecting a weird liquid all over your face,I mean it makes you look horrible,and unnatural.and many people do it just because they dont want to look old.I think that looking like a 20 year old is a bit retarded if you have the soul of a 50 year old.

Patrick Dempsey, I'm sure, got Botox and I think his turned out alright. Then again, I s'pose it depends how much you have and what you have it for.

If someone actually needs plastic surgery then that's ok. But people who just do it to make themselves better looking, that's just twisted. And it looks completely unnatural. Like my mother was advanced 4 cup sizes, and she looks terrible. Plus that boosted her career as a stripper, so she was always working when I was a little kid, and it made me sad. And think of all the things that could go wrong. I just watched a program on that a few hours ago, one lady got liposuction and lost both of her legs, and the guy's nose collapsed. Does that sound fun? No.

If someone is really not happy and think Plastic Surgery is best for them then fair enough. But when it's super extreme and becomes unnatural I think it's horrible.

I think it's okay if it's for a good and needed reason. I had a breast reduction, and I think it was probably the best thing I've ever done. :] No more back problems.

i have a really crooked nostril. i like it. it makes me more distinct then other people. and you cant really notice it unless i look up.
