I got bored and I have an older computer I just used for porn so I decided to try to do something a little more useful with it. I downloaded and burned Windows Vista to a dvd and installed it just to see what people are making a big deal about. Honestly it's "okay" I have Vista Ultimate (there is home, pro, etc) there are only three display settings, probably my monitor's fault, and the security protection gets annoying after awhile. One wierd thing is that paint is now like upside down and it's really difficult to get the internet working because of the security. I think the only reason I got it was to piss off one of my nerdy friends, but yeah I'm either ganna sell it or just give it away to somebody I know that needs it (probably my friend Sean), but I could probably get a few bucks for it on ebay since vista isn't for sale yet (...I don't think.... might be) anyway Vista has a few neat tricks, but don't pay over $100 for it, just bootleg it off torrentz.com

Knowing how out of sync with technology I am, I probably won't get it for about two years. I'm happy with this XP laptop we got three months ago, but if my best friend gets it, he'll tell me his opinion and if he likes it, I'll probably get it. He's like...a major computer nerd.

Unless you have an unused machine to install it on, don't. Things are much different on Vista, and it takes some time and dedication to learn it all. I think if you install it on your main computer you'll end up uninstalling it and putting whatever OS you're using now back on it in about a week.

It depends what you want it for.
Windows is more popular and compatible with everything
Machintosh is more stable and good looking.
