That's a cool picture. Well I live in more of a rural area outside a city (much smaller than the one you posted). The street I live on is fairly busy but still considered a country road. Quite a few houses going along it, but alot of farmland as well. Mostly vegetable crops. Behind my house is about an acre or two of land, one part of it is our own and the rest is owned by our neighbors, half of it is a horse pasture and half forest which lines a highway. It's hard to describe I guess. I'll post pictures sometime.... er maybe.

i moved to long island since then. i can't find any good google pictures of my area, but it's basically middle class homes all in one little area. it's very quiet around here.. nothing like NYC. My area is slowly turning into a city. Nevertheless, I like it a lot.

i live in a village with a population of about 2000, 1990 of which are over 50 years old (I'm guessing), we're also surrounded by lots of fields.

But if I'm right then if the cameraman turns directly to the right there will be lots more forest but also some long winding roads through it. Well beyond that houses start along the road and then a little further down the trees start to thin out and then its hilly and I live in that area. A few Kms away.

The river. It makes everything look very uninhabited, though, when in fact there's a bridge that would be right behind the phtographer, and a RV park/hotel right next to him.


Stock picture of Creamer's Field. People go there and watch birds a lot. In the fall, there's always cranes there.
