I asked a vegetarian "If you don't eat meat b/c of the harm to animals then why eat plants? They're alive too. I bet they have feelings too since they're alive and all." She replies with " I eat plants b/c plants don't have mothers." ..... is this stupid or is it just me?

Scuse me, as a member of PETA - I'm gonna have to inform you that Plants are alive as well, and should not be eaten as it is murder.

I honestly don't think so. Because, I mean, it's true. This planet consists of a food chain. It's life. Even if it's sad and kinda sucks.

there are many other beneficial reasons to being vegetarian: namely health reasons.

of course, i could never be one. i LOVE steak, love a good hamburger, and am extremely fond of chicken stips and roast turkey sandwiches. om nom.
