I believe they are all false. Its the same as all the other religions in the world.

Is there a possible way to read them without buying? Or preferably having a sythesided text or something? >.<

Well, seeing as they were probably all written by mortals, I declare them to be false.

My point exactly.

Well the Bible IS the biggest selling book of all time.... If it worked for Christians I don't see why it wouldn't work for other religions.

Could that be because Christians crusaded for many years to ensure that Christianity was practiced(with consent from the bible itself)?

But then it would mean that every single piece of truth we've discoverd is false because it was defined by mortals. I think that they all have something true and something false, because even when the human can't reach perfection, it cannot reach a total imperfection.

You missed the point. The point I am trying to make(I think xHelena was too) is that we are trying to mingle with things beyond our comprehension. We cannot claim to know "God" because he is just impossible to know if he has never shown itself to us.

But God actually showed himself, just that you don't believe in thoose holy texts, which is essential if you do ever want to deeply comprehend one religion.

Perhaps, perhaps. There's also a huge conspiracy with motel owners.

So....those religious(most of which are claimed to or proven to be written by humans)texts are proof of a god showing himself?

I believe there's only one holy text which is proof of God, which is the Bible.
But scince you don't have a defined religion but (as I understood) you believe in the existance of a greater entity (a God), therefore, you must know that God gave us a mean for us to get to him, in order to discover Him.

I didn't say that and I never once claimed to believe in a god; I believe in a higher being. I believe in whatever it may be because something HAD to create the singularity for the big bang. I know nothing more than that there is one, it never gave us means of finding it, I just came to that conclusion.

Alright, then which is your definition of a God and the one of a Higher Being?

I don't see what's so funny about it, I've read much worse in the bible. FSM is pretty entertaining and fights for the right cause.

Why the hell should it matter so much HOW we got here. Everyone should believe what they want to. It shouldn't matter how we are here, it should matter why. Perhaps it was all by chance, or perhaps there is an entity who entrusting a world to our hands. Just enjoy life, don't question it!
smosh4life2
God means one who we know is worthy of worship and who we have knowledge of and who has always existed. He must also be omnipotent and omiscient(or however you spell it)

A higher being must simply be beyond creation.
Tortilinie_ShelZoid
I can see how there would be truth in all religions, more or less, and I don't think that one is more accurate than the other.
After all, none of us REALLY know what the afterlife holds, or why we were put on this earth, so why should we fight over it, or get into wars simply over conflicting beliefs?
The Sunni and the Shiites are just one example of this.
