Marvel's legal department has in the past, attacked CoH (City of Heroes) for providing tools for which people can play in shallow deriviates of Marvel properties. Like the imfamous Spydorr Man.
Personally I thought their case was, whille they had a degree of firm reasoning, pretty much BS 'cause you can make characters named Spydoor Man in, like, any mmorpg. But that's what happens when legal departments are painfully disconnected from the rest of the universe.

So now the two companies, Marvel and Cryptic, have kissed and made up and come to some kind of truce and Cryptic will make a Marvel MMORPG. Which is pretty cool. I guess.

I just wanna know, if it's using Marvel Characters, who picks who gets what character?
