Topic. I dont know candy about the game, other than you play as an ODST and they supposidly have this super awesome multiplayer gametype called matchmaking. other than that, im only getting it so i can play as Sargent Johnson.

From what I have heard, ODST takes place on Reach just before the Covenant completely destroy it (or so we think.) You are playing as a stranded ODST officer who has no idea what has happened to his squad or the world.
So, your roaming around the city searching for clues as to what has happened the past few days. Seeing as your on your own (and not a Spartan) and the city is crawling with packs of Brutes, this game is more based on stealth and strategy rather than the size of your ammo clip.
That's really all I know. Well, that and you get to use the Spartan Laser.

No, it takes place in new mombasa, not reach, thats bungie's next game.
This game is going to be the same as Halo 3, guarantee it.

You can eat your own words now. You know, since I was totallt right.
The game takes place in halo 2, you playing as an orbital drop shock trooper, while master chief and that story is taking place somewhere else. You are a rookie, and you are much shorter, weaker, less agile. Oh, and no more energy shield regenerations if you lose it. Health packs come in handy. All of these things things make the game feel like Halo CE, much scarier.
