Not only that, but if Hot Topic were to sell it, the prices would be higher. And you have to go get it, whereas online they ship it to you.

Smosh doesn't sell shirts and merch at Hot Topic because if they did, hot topic would take a percentage of the money from the purchased merch, but anthony and ian are like what the hell we want the money. plus they need to pay American Apparel for making the shirts.

That's a lie. If you saw a Smosh shirt, but had no idea what Smosh was, you would think "wtf" and "wtf" only. Their shirts don't really make any sense without the videos, so anyone without knowledge of them wouldn't buy them.
