That is my question. Discuss.

I´m not sure.Having safe sex is fine but if you´re underage you shouldn´t do that
love1a1
I don't know if it's right or wrong, but sometimes you can be taken to court as a sex offender and that's not good, you can't go to parks or schools or museums and people won't trust you.
nameless123
Ever see the show 16 and pregnant?
Yeah, that "protection" doesn't always work. And not everybody likes abortions. So I'm gonna say if you have underage sex, fine. But if you make a baby... you're screwed, literally.

This is pretty much interesting post. In fact, one of the most interesting posts I found on Smosh Forums.

But I think such topics are not suitable for Smosh.com as the most of the audience and users are under 15.

I think underage but protected sex is fine if both you and your partner actually have a stable relationship and are both ready for it.
Autttumn
I think as long as you use protection its all good.
JJbros
only have sex when your young if your just so horny you cant take anymore, otherwise just wai until youre atleast 16 or 17, or if your religious, wait until marraige

There's not a clear-cut right or wrong to underage sex. For the most part, its a matter of cultural values. Hundreds of years ago, underage sex was the norm. Once a girl hit puberty, she was considered viable for childbirth and for the most part, marriage. Sex at the age of 18 would have been considered delayed and abnormal. This was true even for Christian families. Even now, other countries practice sex at a much earlier age.

The answer's kind of a case-by-case thing. Some kids shouldn't have sex, but if they're both emotionally mature and safe, who's to say there's an implied consequence?

This is a vague question because underage can mean a lot of things. I, personally, would say that most kids (unless they are extremely poor, mentally unstable, desperate, or something else that gives them special circumstances) should wait until 16. Why? At 16, [many of these reasons are directly related to accidental pregnancy] you are old enough to work in many places, you are about to become an adult citizen (by law), you are almost old enough to drive, you'll be able to focus more time on a baby if that sort of thing happens, you are more intelligent on safe sex than at younger ages and have had sex ed, you're more emotionally mature and you are old enough (in my opinion) to pass judgement on whether or not to have sex and how to protect yourself.

The funny part is, the girl has to deal with it before, while, and after the baby's born... fun! especially when you haven't graduated.

I don't know if this post is serious or just trying to spark an arguement... if you're serious though, you shouldn't be referring to gays as 'a homo' (I would think) since, for all you know, you might be one. Too much male pride would usually deter men from even thinking about having gay sex, but if you enjoyed it (or even did it without being forced), there is a good chance [I'd think] that you are probably gay. Both of you. I'm not trying to insult you, just sum up your priorities. Just because you've never though about yourself in that way, sex is a pretty important and consequential thing... if you wanted to do it with a guy, that might just mean your a manly gay.

please stop typing in vibrant colors. it makes you impossible to take seriously and proves you're too young to understand a discussion like this.

I think that, as a general rule, 17 is the youngest you should have sex. 18 or later is ideal; I think you should wait till college or marriage before you have sex. that way, at least, there's no way you're parents could punish you for it or find out about it, if they think like that. you're also you're old enough to buy you're own birth control at that point.

you're point is based on a TV show that was created to help fearful parents validate their fears through petty and stupid drama. and the continuous smily faces add the the idea that you're around the age 10.

Underaged but protected sex., Is it right?

no,this is why because a lot of people think "ohhhhh it's just sex" but it's lots of emotional baggage that goes behind it and it's just not worth it

but if there is a creep guy or woman(over the age of 18) that thinks it's ok the have sex with 15--17 it's not first children they cannot process having sex (the emotional part)
second of all jail time men....women they will lock you up of having sex with a child.

two children having sex 14--16i do not condom because children they cannot process having sex(the emotional part) and if you have to sneak to have sex you shouldn't be doing it.

p.s i don't think you should wait to have sex until your married c'mon lets be real but if you do you should be able process and really go into dept about it.TV WILL MAKE THINGS LOOK SO GLAMOROUS.really think about it before you do it

you don't ever wanna meet chris hansen if you don't know him look it up.

What is 'underaged?' You are describing it as when the law dictates you earning the right to be responsible for yourself. What is biological age? What is this magical time when you turn from a kid to an adult and can handle the emotional baggage? You can say it's when puberty ends... 25ish (but you said no to wait until marriage), plus, you always keep learning new things and advancing.

What about people who mature faster? How can you judge how ready someone is?

every answer i posted is my opinion

"What is 'underaged?'"in my own opinion it's when the law says it's ok AND even if you are of age to do something you can be mentally underaged,so when the law says it's ok and mentally you are of age."What is this magical time when you turn from a kid to an adult and can handle the emotional baggage?"have sex because you love that person and the guy/girl doesn't just want to be with you because of what they can get from you."What about people who mature faster?"i don't care i would NEVER condom children having sex EVER."How can you judge how ready someone is?"if you have to ask yourself if your ready then your probably not ready.

Arguement. I'm 14 which is under the legal age to have sex. And I didn't walk up to someone and say let's fuk. He walked up to me and said let's fuk. Maybe he's just a homo or is a bisexual who has only been interested in sex with males. It is possible to be bisexual and be only interested in sex with your own gender.

I'd say that underage sex is usually a very bad idea. people aren't very emotionally ready for sex before 16 or even 18. I guess I think you should wait till you can buy birth control and hold a job. it's also a good idea to be legal. don't have sex with somebody older than 18 if you're younger than 18.
beacky278
I vote no for a few reasons, but mostly because of what sex did to my friend. She lost her virginity earlier this year and (in lame man's terms) got addicted to sex. She now has an infection she's really freaked out about. She's had too many partners for a girl her age and she keeps breaking down from the emotional baggage that comes with it. She's 17.
I don't think teenagers should be having sex because of how it can effect them psychologically. Even though some people mature faster than others, I don't think teenagers, who do not have as much experience as an adult (no matter how mature), can handle these types of situations because they are not mentally prepared for it, and cannot make the same educated decisions that adults can.

that sucks and I'm sorry; but that's an excellent point. teens just aren't ready for sex. I am one, and I'm a horny as the rest of you, but I'm gonna wait till college, when I'm a bit wiser and a bit more free than I am right now.

I agree this is a pretty hard topic for me. BUT I think this is (Especially this post) is a subject that early teens overlook MAJORLY. Many teens 15 and under are making that choice right now and dont have the knowing of how to safely make that choice. Underaged sex is something evreyone should talk and know about. Thats why I love these forums. You can talk to people around your age about serious topics that we all should have an opinion about

My friend started having sex at about 16. Not unusual, also legal here. She dealt with it fine. another one started at 17, and like your friend, got addicted. She's an utter twat, but she's mature enough to understand the responsibilities. I believe that my friend who started at 14 was as well.
What makes an 18 year-old so much more mature than a 17-year old? I agree that immature people shouldn't really be having sex, but age has nothing to do with that.

That is my question. Discuss.

Why is it that under the wisdom of the ages, ie, most religions, that uncontrolled sexual behaviour is considered not a good thing? And that's considering all age groups. There's a reason for that.

When underage kids have sex, at least they should use whatever protection there is. Gay or str8t, diseases can be passed, girls can get pregnant, etc.

Kids will be kids, hormones will be hormones. When you're a guy, 16 or 17, I know the drill. Any of you guys ever had a ball-ache? Well I did, and there is a way to relieve that. Whack off. Girls, whatever it is that you do to "masturbate," do it. Accept no sperm from a spermchucker before your time. Of course, there IS oral sex, but then again, disease comes into play.

Control the urges, kiddies. There's something to be said for masturbation, and no, you won't go blind. I see fine. When I was a teen, I had to hide the monster behind my textbooks, while walking down the halls. The damned thing was insatiable.

Friggin' meow. Dammit why can't I cuss properly in this forum. F-ck turns into "sex", and sh-t turns into "candy."
And this is the society that allows those words in mainstream media.

sex candy crumpet= F-ck sh-t c-nt

shackleford10
I'm confused...are we talking about like two people the same age who are having sex that are under 16? or someone who is way older than an underage person having sex with them?

I think that there will always be kids having sex underage and as long as they stay protected then they should be fine. We cant stop them so we may as well make sure they stay safe.

If we are discussing a 20 year old dude getting with a 15 year old girl then that is completely wrong.

Idk what you consider underage. I know someone who had sex at 17. I had a friend who had sex when he was 15. Not everybody waits until 18 in fact I know less people who do.

This topic is all based on your beliefs and values.......I think it is perfectly normal to have sex around 16ish..............Sex is a human urge we all have.....Deny all you want but deep inside everyone has an urge and curiousity of sex......in fact most of my friends have already have had sex.....even me......What I should say though is make smart judgments if you do.....use protecion at all costs....and just cause a girl says she is on the pill......doesnt mean she is always telling the truth.....(Trust me that happened to my friend)
