Some of these ideas aren't too shabby, like the Mario/Luigi/Yoshi thing, I think it's super cute and timeless. (Unrelated, one of my sisters is going to be Peach, and her BF is going to be Mario)

I'm either going as a Ghostbuster or the Queen of Hearts, if my other sister agrees to be Alice (she looks just like her, srsly).

If you want to be REALLY nerdy and have a group of people, you could be the elements of the period table (then you can combust, be attracted to each other, etc, just make the element really obvious - like for neon you could wear all neon colours or something?)

you could be a ninja. or a samurai. or a tree. or a dragon! that'd be awesome. also, if you have a really great costume, you could post a picture of it to show off your awesomeness.

I'm going as a flapper girl. Very uninventive costume, and they sell out in bulk at costume stores, but I had no clue what to be and it was fairly cheap. I usually don't even bother dressing up but I figured I'd hit up some parties this year.
