Our country will have an election on 2010. Some say a priest will run for president.

That ain't right mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif
Right???

It isn't right. There is a separation of church and state.
Danny G Spin
No, you're not understanding what that means.

Technically, a being a priest is just his job or position in society. He can run for President or any other goverment role that he chooses.

HOWEVER, he must not let religion influence his voting, platform, etc. That is seperation.

Danny G Spin
I'm not sure what you're saying we missed, since we are talking about a priest running for government.
mydadwasahobo
Is it really that hard to notice?
zacman2244
you both missed that fact that it sais 2010 the next election is 2012 pay attention
Danny G Spin
Oh well. I never talked about when the election was. So I don't feel I failed.
toymachine531
That was the only thing his message said, besides 4 words, three question marks, and three angry faces.

Yeah.

You failed.
Danny G Spin
Hmmm, seeing as I was responding to the first post about seperation of church and state, I'm still going to disagree.
toymachine531
And you're still going to be wrong.

Where's my .gif folder when I need it...
Danny G Spin
I think it's funny my entire response was about the second post, and you feel like you have to argue that.

Right???

Well, I think it depends on what country it is in. Some countries don't have church and state separated, or base most of their government on religion.

So my advice and opinion is to research the candidate, and see what platform he's running on. If you think he's going to do good for your country and countries around you, vote for him. If not, vote for someone else.

What do you mean it depends on the country? We are only talking about the USA
