Does anyone have one of these? I have a couple of questions about them. Originally I wanted to save up a couple grand to get a Panasonic AG-HVX200 like smosh or the JVC GY-HD110u because those are very professional cameras and have great HD quality. However they are too exspensive, plus they don't use USB but some firewire thing that doesn't work on my computer.

So I want to go with the HD1010 because it shoots in great HD, and uses USB to upload videos onto a persons computer. My question is, would you recommend it for someone who wants to use it to make short films? Do you think the quality of it looks professional enough? Is it capable of being used to create scenes, that one would see in a professional short film? Also does it use a tripod? If so what kind? It seems too small for most tripods.
