I am a legitimately trained musician. I take 2 hours of theory/musical training every week, as well as a 75 minute music class every day. I also take pride in listening to a great variety of music at any time.

So it is safe for me to say that no drummer can ever be a musician. It's just not done.

It's the same reason hip-hop isn't music. There isn't any real musical endeavor placed inside of it. It's just doing-- Not doing with reason. There's no point to a drummer besides helping musicians stay in time. That is all.

I agree with you drummers are not musicians, but theres a big difference
between drum-heads and percussionists its harder than you think
