I was just wondering what you think happens when you die. Don't just say heaven! If you say heaven explain a little about what you can do in heaven.
Personally I think that whatever you beleive happens when you die. i.e. if you think you go to heaven and every meal is at a buffet than when you die I think you will go to heaven and every meal is at a buffet.

I like the idea of reincarnation. Apparently to a lot of people that's not a good thing. I'd love to be reincarnated, but perhaps in a different form... Perhaps an animal or alien or bacteria floating in the sea. I don't think one has to reincarnate as a human, but maybe that's just me.
There was also that movie, "What Dreams May Come", that basically said that the afterlife (I'm pretty sure it was Heaven in the movie) is whatever you think it will be. I guess Robin Williams' character thought it would be his (wife's?) painting... That was a good movie.
This is always an interesting topic. I hope that my good grammar makes it easy to read!

Everything in existence is very very very large. Unfathomably large. By that I mean, there exists a ton of space. Earth is not the only place one can live on.
We all are more than our bodies. I am reminded of a quote that goes something like:
"We don't have souls. We are souls. We have bodies."
This is not far from the truth.
Point being, there exists nigh infinite (because the number is ridiculously high, as to be unfathomable) "souls" out there without "bodies" and there are us, who have them. When we die, we lose our bodies, and off we go into the place everybody else is at. Depending on how we are here, like, if we followed a god or whatever, things out there will be different. Or you could not have followed a god, and just...hang about. Discarnates have perfectly normal lives like us. Go get a job or something. Or you could get reincarnated again, because apparently, living is fun or something, I do not know. At any rate, if you get reincarnated, you go though a process, depending on *where* you are going since there are nigh infinite places, and you get chucked into "here" again, and you live and do stuff, and die, blah blah.
That is what happens when you die. It is vastly Dependant on what you have done before now, what you do now, and what you personally want.
Either that or me and a ton of other people are insane and having the same dillusions. Pick one.

If you have sinned, and are not sorry, you will go to hell. If you are sorry for your sins, you will go to heaven. I don't think when you die, that it's all over. Something must be after it.

that would be fun coming back as some one/thing else. the only thing i dont like it that you wouldnt never know if you were some one else or not.
This sounds pretty crazy but what if it was like that movie ausmoses jones. you know, where he is a white blood cell inside some one elses body and he doesnt even know it(i dont think he does anyways). Like there is a big community and society and just living life, and they dont even know they are IN somthing. you know?
only not exactly us being in comeone elses body, but what if we are living this life and we dont even know we could be like in somthing or someone else. its really hard to explain so i understand if you dont get what im talking about lol.

exactly why you asked, "what do you think happens?"
truth is, nothing happens when you die, besides going in an expensive wooden box and being put 6 feet deep, they might distribute your organs or something like that, but other than medical purposes, you get buried. there is no proof of an afterlife, so how can you believe in one? nobody has seen their great grandma sittin in a big leather chair smokin a blunt with god, or anything like that. there are no people who have died comming and knocking on your door saying, "hey, you should die, the afterlife is great." reason why . . . . . . their simply is no afterlife.

Having no afterlife just doesn't have any feel or logic to it. Everything in nature has a purpose to it, and life's just too hard for us to have to endure, then die into nothingness. There are so many possibilities, some that can sound stupid and farfetched, but they're a possibility simply because we're ignorant to them. If I was a god, I probably wouldn't just pop up out of nowhere like, "Here I am! Lol." It could be just a test of faith and a god has the power to do that - hence why they are a god. My personal idea of God isn't just a person, but in a more metaphorical sense.
Everything around us is God. Everything that exists in the world came about by chance, and some people consider that a miracle in itself.
I came up with a little idea, I drew it up real quick on Paint:

It's just an idea, I haven't completely thought it through yet, and life isn't in the center for a particular reason. Reincarnation could also be applied in the sense that the cycle could be repeated again.
I don't know, no one knows what'll happen, that's just my two cents.

Not particularly. But whatever.
If one gets into the paranormal (assuming they do it with people who know what the hell they are talking about), one can learn certain things, at least consciously, since it appears that a lot of people already have "hunches" that are half right.
At any rate, an "easy" thing to do is go learn astral projection and ask around...

paranormal?
and, assuming one gets into the paranormal, how do we know it's truth we discover, and not lies and hidden truths?
this is assuming there is a paranormal, that would go into life after death, or the whole troubled soul, haunting, and poltergeist ideas. don't you have to believe in that stuff to do it?
and if so, how can you convince yourself it's true if you can't experience it beforehand (this would be your beliefs hindering the experiment)

This is the purpose of confirmation. It is possible you are insane...but it becomes less and less likely the more people who are supposedly insane.
QUOTE

I am of the "Belief" that there is plenty of *scientific* evidence to support the existence of several paranormal things, but it is just that nobody bothers to look into it/they absolutely refuse the idea. Now, I always knew it was there, but I never bothered to look myself until recently...I am absolutely amazed at the amount of evidence that exists, and have now concluded that anybody who wants to get all the facts and is not some horrible biased person, should realize that many of these things exist.

I believe when you die, then that is all.
When your life is over, it's over. There's no second chances. There's no chance to "pay restitution for your sins".
That's why you should never go through life believing that you have to suffer or not live your life to it's fullest potential in order to reach something greater.
Greater is now. Make the fullest of your situation.
While you're alive, you should grasp the worldly pleasures surrounding you.
No one should have to believe that the only reason they're on Earth is for a test.

Death.
I think that's it.
End of the line.
It's really scary to think that when you feel so alive, you will one day not feel anything at all, no heart beat, no breath, no love.
But I think that's the main problem.
People invented an afterlife because they were afraid. Nothing to be ashamed of, it's a really scary thing, the concept of nothingness, but I think they should accept it and enjoy LIFE, not obsess about death.

People obsess about death because they don't know what's waiting for them. It's a bit like when you're in love (yeah yeah. I've been. For too long), before going and saying anything, wondering whether the person loves you too. It's an obsessive-compulsive disorder

i like where your going with that. It's true, it's human nature to question that which we don't understand. And also, there's the whole idea of when we die and find out, we cannot share our answers, unless through the paranormal, which not everyone believes in. Interesting.
