I just wanted to know everyones thoughts on how everything turned out and what you expect to happen. All I can say is I hope to god Jim comes back! I love that guy!
And I laughed my ass off when Dwight was crying that he had left, and then was all "False"... You had to have seen it to get it.
Anyway, post your thoughts and predictions!

He will be back in the office, he's still in the credits and I don't think they'll just have Ed Helms (from the Daily Show as Jim's new co-worker) for only one episode. I predict Jim'll get fired from his new job because of pressure put on the boss from his new co-workers.

Its a hilarious show that you have to sit down and watch at least a whole episode to like it, so don't just sit down and watch 2 minutes of it and stop. Its a show thats supposed to be like a documetry on this paper company and all the people in that office, it is so damn hilarious though.

Easy Chris Farley... Do you mean when Dwight was trying out the "Gaydar" on Oscar and then the same thing happened when he did it to himself?

Yeah, I am not one for television. The only thing I watch at this point is Avatar: The Last Airbender, and not on the television, but on my computer. Downloading the latest episode right now.
Television is mostly boring in my opinion. Plus, I do not own one for my room.

I don't watch much tv but The Office is sooo good. I'm sad I missed the premiere.
Last week I saw season 2 on sale for 3 bucks and also a collector's edition with season 1 and 2 for 40. You can pretty much figure out which one I went for.

Or someone (a mod?) could filter it so whenever people write The Office it comes out as "The Best Show on TV". Like they did for that band, I forget their name. But thinking of it, the office is kind of too general a term.

Are we talking about the US premiere or the UK premiere?
Either way, I saw neither. But I would be happier if it was the UK premiere, because as far as I know they stopped after the 2nd season (why, God, why?).

All the Brits' tv shows are short lived I guess. It's how they do TV.

I really don't like My Name is Earl, it's way too white trash for my taste.
The Office premiere was...different. It lacked the show's usual flow because it had to deal with the aftermath of the season 2 cliffhanger, so at first it felt a bit awkward, like the show had lost its magic touch.
But then I thought about it some more and I realized that that's perfect. Jim is now working at another branch, and I don't think that's supposed to work well by design, so if it seems weird, that's the point. It's clear that Jim and Pam miss each other, but they need a little time before working together again. I don't know when Jim will be back at Scranton, it might be in a few episodes, it might be at the end of the season, but I say he will be back eventually.

I agree with both of those statements.
If Jim
doesn't come back (which I think he will) they'll lose a lot of viewers. Or so I think. If I was the producer, I'd hold off until near the end of the season. I think that would give them more viewers.
The Office is one of my favorite shows.

He's coming back this week, I saw a promo.
I like My Name is Earl, it's a funny parody on white trash America. I just learned that they have 2 other "Offices" a French version "Le Buereau" and a German version.

No. Google is fun to use.
As for The Office, I found the second episode about 10x better than the first. it had me laughing outloud at multiple parts, but the best was the last few lines of the episode.
Michael: Turn on the blacklights, Dwight. (Looks at the bed) What are all those stains?
Dwight: Either blood, semen, or urine.
Michael: Oh God... I hope it's urine.
And the Jim/Pam thing is still subtley brilliant. the look on Jim's face when Michael tells him to say hi to Pam on the phone, the conversation between Jim and Michael in the hotel room, it's all poignant and great and I love it. it['s on again tonight.
