Need a little help here.

I need to know how to get the work for this question.

Find two numbers with a difference of 7 that have a product that is a minimum. The answer is -7/2 and 7/2.

Anyone know how you would get there?

Wait, the answer is -7/2 and 7/2? Is it a square root then? Or absolute value or whatever makes you have both. I hate math. All you need to know is how to type numbers into a calculator. You don't need formulas and whatnot. When am I going to use a quadratic equation in real life?

divide the 16x by 4x which would equal 4x-4

then factor out the 4 so you get 4 (x-1)

...I think.

EDIT: Nvm i believe Foobs is right, I'm thinking of calculus again...

Could someone/anyone check this essay for me?

-My sentence structure is usually a problem so pointing out mistakes would be helpful

-also, general constructive criticism would be apreciated

The essay is about sufferage in Britain in the early 20th century so it'll make an incredibly exciting read!

We got back exam grades and here's what I got: Accounting-98, Honors Biology-100, Media Tech-99, and Honors Civics and Economics-95. So yay! All A's...I'm so happy! I studdied really hard for those.

Because if we don't excercise the right to vote, then we surrender our right to have any sort of say in the affairs that concern us, and sooner or later, the government will become tyrannical, simply by default.

Religion/The Matrix help

so we watched the first matrix in religion class and now i have to write an essay about one of these topics

in you opinion does the film lean more toward Hindu or Christian theogoloyy and beliefs?

are we slaves to our bodies and to the world around us. if so then what is real?

in looking at society as a whole, where would most people side as a Cipher character or Neo?

I did have loads of corrections quoted on here, but I think it's easier if I just edit it and re-post the edited version for you. Unless I'm too late that is..

(I screwed around with indents and font sizes to make it fit on one page. You can change it back if you like, it just keeps down file size for me.)

It hasn't changed loads visibly, but if you read it carefully you'll notice the changes. Lots of sentence structure has been added or changed.

Science Fair/Research
So I need to find a Myers-Briggs personality test that is short and printable, not an online version. All the ones I find seem to be online versions, but I probably click all the wrong links. I'm unlucky like that. And I really have no time to spend on finding it. So if someone could find it for me, that'd be great.

#10 = upside down version of #9, except it has a Y intercept of 4
+8 is just y intercept of -4, and a slope of 1/2.
