I hate showing my work in math class. Everything was too easy. One of my teachers got mad at me not not showing my work in my homework or school work I always made her look bad by telling her how I did everything. That way she didn't bug me about showing my work. And she hated it how I didn't use a calculator when she kept tellinng me to use one when I specifically said I don't need it and I don't use it. I'm old school and if I ever need to solve a problem that's too long I'll use paper and pencil. Calculators don't show your work either haha.

The fancier ones do. Like those $100 one.

2. A can chases a mouse across a 1.0 m high table. The mouse steps out of the way, and the cat slides off of thetable and strikes the floor 2.2 m from the edge of the table. What was the cat's speed when it slid off the table?

3. A pelican flying along a horizontal path drops a fish from a height of 2.7 m, going 7.7 m/s. How far would the fish travel horizontally before hitting the water?

I've searched through dA (deviantArt) for a lot for stuff to sketch but to no avail. So what I would like of you, so intrieged reader is to gather up some drawings or pictures that I should draw for my art class and I promise that I will scan it and post it here so that you can see it for yourselves!

Vertical Forces
Distance=0.70m
Acceleration=9.8m/s/s (acceleration due to gravity)
Time=the square root of two times the distance divided by the acceleration
Ie.
T= square root of (2S/A)
T=square root of ((2 x 0.7)/9.8)
T = 0.38 seconds

Horizontal Forces
Distance= 0.25m
T= 0.38 s (see vertical for working)
Speed=distance x time
V=d x t
V=0.25 x 0.38
V= 0.657metres/second (final answer)

The other two questions are similar, I think you just need to rearrange the formula: S=Ut + att
(Displacement = initial velocity x time + acceleration x time squared) for both of them.

You know what you're capable of drawing and what interests you, it's not really something anyone can do for you. If in doubt just start sketching and see if you get any ideas or stick random words into google images.
