QUOTE
Tornadoes and violent storms roared Thursday across Alabama, killing at least 18 people, including 15 at Enterprise High School, where students were reported trapped under a collapsed roof.
More than 50 people were hospitalized across the state, according to the Associated Press.
State Emergency Management Agency spokeswoman Yasamie Richardson said it wasn't clear whether the deaths at the high school were all students or a mix of students and teachers.
Enterprise Police Chief T.D. Jones said students remain trapped inside the school and workers are attempting to move a wall that is acting as a barrier between the workers and the students, according to a report in the Enterprise Ledger newspaper.

there's been a few minor shakes on the west coast's east bay. i'll freak out if an earthquake happens. i wonder, which is more deadlier? an earthquake or storm?

I live in northwest alabama, and the high school in my town let out right as the storm was about to start. It seems like bama needs to be more storm concious for sure.

I was just watching this on the news, it was kind of funny cause its a pretty big tragedy when so many kids die. They were interviewing one of the teachers and the only thing he said was "alot of people were cut" but he said it funny. made me laugh.

awhh that really sucks.
We had a tornado "drill" today in school, I wonder if it had anything to do with that. Probably not, I live in Florida but it's still weird because we haven't had a tornado drill all year.

About a week or two ago there was a rain cloud a few miles away from my school and these girls were looking out the window. The rain kinda looked like a tornado, so I'm like "look a tornado!"... of course they beleived me... lol.
