This is EXACTLY what is wrong with America today.

Partisan politics is just corruption at the highest level right in front of everyones eyes. There was no mention of different parties in the constitution, parties themselves are against everything America stands for. Forcing you to choose A or B, on every single issue is fucking ridiculous. D or R is the same exact thing.

Whats worse is people now don't even know WHO or WHAT they are voting for against, only that their PARTY is for or against it. People no longer vote, or really do anything for themselves now days, everything is done by party affiliation. We are encouraged to continue this way, and to pass on these practices to our children.

Any kind of Democracy, representative or not, does not involve a political groups holding power over the entire country. Thats called a Dictatorship. People just seem to forget what Democracy really is.

In my opinion, the two-party system is starting to become obsolete as stated previously. I used to support the Republican party, but I have now realized that most people in it (as well as the Democratic Party), have no idea what the hell they stand for. I listen to these kids at school speak about their party, yet they don't even know who Obama is. Their only argument is "Bush is an idiot" or "The Democrats are idiots." It's a disgrace to see how backwards our society has gotten, especially it's youth. We need to rid America of the two-party system and base, which will force people to base their votes on issues, not favoritism.
