eeep. there are quite a few foreign exchange students at my college from japan... they say japan is like super over the top into fashion and stuff. like theyre crazy obsessed with clothes and style and how they look.

It looks like the American 1980's threw up on some Catholic schoolgirls on prom night.

aparently immitation "see through" skirts are all the rage in japan? they have prints on them to make you think the skirt is sheer and you can see the persons undies... this is the most fucked up thing ive ever seen. not to mention ugly.

all that new-age "gangster" shit, like "poppin the colla", wearing "bling" (only Mr. T is an exception), wearing those "fly kicks" (like, basketball-player endorsed shoes that look really gay), sticking the tounge of the shoes way out, or leaving them untied, the whole emo look in general, mohawks (getting big around here again...), and there is this thing where kids go around snapping their fingers, and pretty much look like they are retarded. I really don't get what the fuck is up with it.

haha that's something that's big among college kids. i have several velure track suites in pink, teal, and black. theyre something comfy and matching that you can wear to class. basically anything that is super comfy and easy to throw on is big on a college campus tho haha... like uggs.

oh man, it's sad but i like these. i dont like how they look, cause theyre ugly x's 1000 and they don't go with anything you wear, but they are so incredibly comfortable. they are really only "in style" though at like hospitals (with nurses and stuff) or older adults... my mom has like 3 pairs, she's obsessed and wears them everywhere.

The emo trend isn't that bad. I like the style but not the whole concept of 'being depressed' or whatever, and I don't really like the music either. But I think the clothes are nice. Yes, the hair also
