Some girls are just as pretty without make up and sweat pants can look cute.

actually, buying those products hurts the world.
it costs money to make those shirts.
in the end you're just hurting the world.

That depends on what you mean by the world. People are employed to make those shirts, and if it's cotton then no animals were even looked at in the process of making the shirt. so buying those shirts is saving the economy, giving workers money to feed their families, and keeping society from collapsing. I don't see how that's hurting the world. money isn't evil.
Tortilluh
I'm going to have to agree with this Becky character because the girls that go out without makeup and wearing sweats and say, "I didn't feeeel like putting in that much effort today" usually put in a ton of effort other days and when they don't put on any makeup or anything, they look terrible because you expect them to look great with all their makeup and junk.

Um, a prep is someone who goes to prep school. Do you mean the preppy style? IE: Lacoste, Calvin Klein, Banana Republic.

I don't consider pot a drug.

On topic: I agree that leggings as pants need to go.

Caffeine is considered a drug, but you don't consider pot a drug?

Technically it is, but not to me. It's a plant, so it's not like all these chemicals in pills and needles and shit.

Emo has been dead. You probably don't even know what it is. Emo was a music genre in the 80's and early 90's. What you see today are scene kids.

It annoys me when people wear loads of bracelets. Where I live they tend to wear them to cover up self-harm scars, but still wear short sleeve shirts in the knowledge that their arms are perfectly visible. Pricks.

And more often than not keeping the sticker on your cap is to show it's authentic. I think it looks alright like that anyway.

Emo may have once been used solely to describe a music genre, but now it is undeniably used to describe fashion also. So trying to act like a pretentious snob isn't going to work. Scene is different to emo, it is more recent and more colourful. Over the past few years the words have changed meaning and with such slang words like that you can't say that there is a specific meaning/person to identify with it as a lot the time it's down to opinion. So they've merged into one vague fashion description.

Some people don't feel the requirement to wear make-up 24/7 and aren't desperate to make a positive impression. Some people don't give a shit, so why the hell do you?
Uggs are a trend in their own right, I know a lot of people that buy them simply because they're comfortable, regardless of what they look like. Girls tend to go out in their pyjamas or whatever because they're just going to the shop and I get the feeling that they don't give a candy about the insecure little girl who believes they should dress to impress when going to buy a carton of milk.

Haven't you ever felt like shit in the morning and just been like, I'm not gonna bother? In the winter I wear sweatpants sometimes because I'm lazy and they're comfortable. And my Uggs are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. If you're that superficial, lock yourself in a room full of mirrors and stay away from people who don't fell the need to make an effort 24/7.

Fine but my point is that people need to stop this stereotype of anybody with long dark hair being emo. 1 it shouldn't be an insult to be emo, 2 it's fuel for douche bags. I take a lot of crap for how I look and i'm not emo. But i'm called it a lot because of the stereotype. People hate things they don't understand. It's not right and needs to stop.

So, Basically, what trends now-a-days should die? Which ones would you not be caught dead in wearing?

-I think leggings are ugly. Why wear a skirt if you're going to cover up your legs? Because it's cold? Then don't wear a skirt!

-Uggs just look bad. Same with Crocs.

-Guys that wear girl pants. Just stop.

That all I got right now. Post your own smile.gif

Well, first I'm older than 99.99% of you all here. What I want to see end is the baggy clothes thing. If ya got it, flaunt it. We did. Look at 70's, early 80's. Of course we had nowhere near the fatasses like nowadays. We wore tight pants, tight shirts, didn't wear shorts like grandpa did (baggy below the knees) We wouldn't have been caught dead wearing clothes anyone could find in grandma's closet... stuff they wore in the 30's, which weirdly showed up come the early 90's. Of course not everybody looked good in those days, but enough did so we didn't have to hide ourselves. And of course, I'm glad nowadays that damned stupid buzz cut bakebaw look is on its way out.
