Yeah but it is not dead yet, and to be more specific (post above Toxic's). Pretty much everything, even the music. It is highly too commercial. I don't exactly hate that aspect, I like it when people succeed, but now it seems just any old band can come along as long as they carry the tag emo, even if the band does not like it. Kind of freaky, because sometimes you see a chick, but it is a dude. Pretty freaky, the old emo scene was good though, that being the D.C. scene. Now it is just overdone. The hype will die down, just a fad. Though there will be a new wave, I hope it is no worse. EDIT: Emo should just mean you get emotional in say, your stage show, not what it means today, people are just oblivious.
