It's a new Halloween-season craze that's been cropping up all over the place. I'm not sure where it originated, or how often it occurs, but I've heard of them taking place everywhere from California to Texas to New York to the UK.
It's just where a bunch of people all get together, dressed and made up like zombies, and shamble their way through a public place, like a park or business district downtown. Sometimes they have an afterparty at a club or someone's house, or sometimes they just do it for the heck of it.
Well, there was one in Burlington, Vermont this past Friday, and I participated. There were about 40-50 "zombies" that showed up.

(That's me, rawr. If you wanna see the rest of my group, go here.
The looks on people's faces were just precious. It was insanely fun.
Had you heard of these "Zombie Walks" before? Seen one? Been in one?
What do you think of the concept?
