Anyone get it yet? What do you think?

I plan on buying it sometime within the next week, and it wuld be nice to get a little bit feedback from some people who have played it, despite the review scores for it so far being pretty much positive (which is plus.)

Just another MK game to me, never really got into the series though the fatalities were fun the first 100 times. I might rent it

I want to get it, but can't. It looks pretty cool and now they've got some kind of air combo thing goin on. I always found it a little harder to play the 3-d ones than the 2-d ones.

after Ultimate MK3, MK went down the drain. The series sucks now.

Actually MK anhillalation or something I forget which one it was but it had a storyline adventure mode and that actually was pretty sweet. You get to go through different places and find characters all around and have to do certain things and also fight with most of em.

MK: deception, had Konquest mode (Which is what you're talking about), Im pretty sure anhilliation did too, but I dont really know, I never played it.

Ah that's right, it wasa deception. That Konquest Mode was really fun. I only played some of alliance, but I remember one awesome video you could unlock. "Cooking With Scorpion" that video cracks me up so much. By the way I wanted to play the shaolin monks one but I never did. That one looked pretty fun.

Anyway, I'm a huge MK fan but I plan on waiting for the Wii version before I get Armageddon.

I got it today. Its pretty fun so far. Konquest mode gives you a ton of koins, that you use to buy stuff in the krypt, or more accesorries and stuff for create a kombatant.

But Motor kombat (Despite it being really lame) is the easist way to get koins.

I wish they brought back puzzle kombat (Despit it being a rip off of super puzzle fighter)

Uh lets see. Just screwing around in practice right now. Learing some of the chracters moves.

Armageddon pushes the limit of character choices, which is awsome, but this might be an opening to get games like street fighter and super smash bros. to have a shit load more characters in upcoming games....

I just played motor kombat online, and TOTALLY won, but it said I didnt for some reason... Stupid game.

Im too afraid to fight anyone online, because I totally fucking suck. I need to find a character Im good with... So far I've only played as zombie liu kang (woo) and got like 3 fighers into the arcade mode before I got owned.

I find Mortal Kombat games really bad for that.

Yeah... I've been getting kinda pissed at that games singleplayer. So I just go online and make whoever I play laugh so much that either I will win, or that I just dont care because Im having a good time making jokes about everything that is happening.

yeah is the best. On 2,3 he was unreal with the tail and kick smash i love it. Too bad they couldnt do fatalities with the bosses back then.

And he had a fatality, in the N64 version of mortal kombat trilogy.

i never had a N64, it was always PS with me. Ed Boon is an idiot he gives certain conoles, certain things like a fatality for Shao Kahn on gamecube but not for ps2.

Well now you cant complain, becuase Armageddon doesnt have character specific Fatalities.
