I'm not sure if any of you have ever heard of
improv everywhere but they have been around for at least a couple years now.
It is a group of not-very-well-known comedians, that cuase these
hilarious scenes throughout New York. It's rather hard to explain, but check out their most popular one, for example:
The MoebiusI just finished reading their latest "scene" and it was awesome, check it out if you want.
Rob!And here is the url to their homepage:
http://www.improveverywhere.com/Anyone heard of them before, and if not, did you like any of this stuff after I told you about it?

yeah, i just read/watched the home depot one, and it was hilarious when everyone was frozen. the interviews are seriously the best part of this whole thing though and people's reactions.

I can't believe nobody mentioned the Home Depot one. I explained this one to my friends at school and they almost pissed themselves laughing. it's my favorite after the Starbucks time repeat thing.

http://www.improveverywhere.com/mission_vi...p?mission_id=59hey! i mentioned it.
and here's an idea:
perhaps anthony and ian can contact these guys and talk about setting up a west coast one, like for sacramento/san francisco area. that would be pretty sweet. i would love to do this. i would be really cool to have one out here, and with the internet fame out athony and ian already pretty high, i'm sure it would be cool with them heading the west coast section, and it would probably attract a great deal of people right away...
EDIT: well...okay grippi...i didnt "mention" it, but i replied to someone who did mention it!
EDIT#2:

I live somewhere other than New York, can you help me do something similar in my area?
While we do not plan to sanction official "chapters" or "branches" of IE, we have set up a Global Agents HQ for those living outside of NYC who are interested in pulling off Improv Everywhere-style missions in their area. Sign up for the message board and start meeting like-minded people in your area.
